An incredible experience. So beautiful. Due to the time of the trip (early morning of off season) we actually ended up on Real's boat. Made sense to send just 1 boat instead of 2. Was a super trip.

To say this tour was amazing is an understatement! Super early start so I thought I would sleep a lot of the 4-hour drive there, however, I could not take my eyes off the scenery. Ngaire our bus driver filled the time with telling us...More

The cheapest company, but this doesn't mean the worse. They have the last crusie during the day, which is perfect to capture the Milford Sound in really nice light. Moreover ticket price goes with lunch about which I was really cautious becasue I'm a vegetarien...More

The coach option is definitely a great choice in the winter months too - takes the stress out of the day and gives your driver a day off too!

Didn't have many on my boat. Got the fish and chips included, which was great, didn't have to worry about lunch before that. Saw lots of waterfalls and DOLPHINS! Saw them once on the way out and on the way back again! Apparently it is...More

In the summer time you have to allow about 30-45minutes to find a park and get to the wharf. Dolphin's are just so special when they grace us with a smile and swim along with the boat.

Hard to pick out of all the cruises which effectively go the same route, but the captain was informative but not intrusive, the boat adequate, and the snacks/meal a bonus. Couldn't fault it.

Sometimes we have frills....mostly orange tulle (think tutu's), but generally, we just keep it simple and just do it well!

It rains 182 days of the year at Milford Sound. However, weather in February should be nice. I think Fleece with Kagool would be ok.

I'm not sure what Feb is like, but our top temperature for the day was 20 degrees Celsius. We wore long pants, T-shirts with a water proof jacket over the top to keep us dry. It can be rainy and windy so it's nice to stay... More
