If in Queenstown you must book this in. An amazing experience and the natural beauty of this part of the country takes your breath away. The Captain provided great commentary and an 'optical illusion' when looking up which was magical. All crew were helpful even offering to take photos. This boat holds up to 230 people but due to being in 'red traffic light' covid framework there were only 22 people on board. You can see how much these tour company must be struggling at the moment. We parked in the 'free parking' area which then takes a 25min walk to the terminal which is absolutely doable on a great day, may not be do great on a wet day.

Kia Ora, Thank you for your great review. It is one of the most beautiful natural place of Aotearoa. Our team and captain are always happy to share their passion for Milford Sound. The optical illusion is very fun and impressive. We are happy you went on a sunny day. It rains about 200 days a year in Milford, the rain actually makes Milford as pretty as on a sunny day, because you can see all the massive waterfalls and the rain creates a mystical atmosphere. I hope you can come back on one of those days and enjoy the "bad" weather. Have a safe trip back home, Fanny

An amazing experience. Incredible sights that can't be missed if you're in Fiordland. Wonderful service from all the crew, who were professional, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Great tour narration from the captain and in particular crew-member Ryan, who had a fun, friendly attitude and tonnes of info about Milford Sound. All the crew were also great with the children on board and had great patience taking photos for everyone who asked. Boat was lovely, very clean and modern and a large selection of food and drink (including free tea and coffee).

This was, by far, the hughlight of our trip. A coach ride from Queenstown to Te Anau, then onto Milfird Sound, followed by a cruise down the fjord abd back, with lunch, tea and coffee all provided in the price. We saw and experienced things we never gad before, with lits of cool surprises along the way. Then journey back to Queenstown on the coach again. Now, about our coach driver, Wayne Gaudin. He is far more than a tour guide. Having lived and worked on that road for many years, he was able to put a personal spin on the stories of the places we went through or visited, sharing details and anecdotes that you otherwise wouldnt have had. He was a great guy and even had a good music playlist! Could not speak more highly of him, nor of the day. Fantastic!

If you are wanting a informative trip with lovely staff on a very beautiful boat then this is the one for you. There was only 10 passengers on our cruise and we were happy with that as we could go where we pleased without having to worry about being to close to anyone or getting in other people's photos. The staff always came over to you to chat or ask if you were OK and got us all towels when we got wet from standing in the waterfall. It was great. I would recommend taking a change of clothes or a warm raincoat

Kia Ora Debbie, Thanks for choosing us for your Milford Sound adventure, and for sharing your wonderful feedback. Milford Sound is a pretty special place at all times, but even more so at the moment when you are guaranteed to be withouth the crowds! Due to the steep nature of the cliffs and deep water in the fiord, our larger vessel can bring you just as close to the action as the smaller ones can with plenty of space on board. Win win! We are so proud of our exceptional staff who take Kiwi hospitality to the next level! Thanks for sharing your great tip to your fellow adventurers - the waterfall is an experience you won't want to miss so a good raincoat and/or chang\e of clothes is essential. We really appreciate your support and would love to see you at Milford Sound again! Best wishes, Kate

Amazing! Highly recommend. It is my 2nd cruise in 2 years with Jucy; both experiences were outstanding and I must say that it is the staff that made the x factor experience on both trips. They really coax us passengers to experience the sights and the commentary and the extra banter is on point. Well done guys - A+++

Kia Ora Cole, Thanks for coming back to join us a second time at Milford Sound, and for sharing the time to share your wonderful feedback with us. When the landscape is this beautiful, the scenery so stunning and the waterfalls so impressive, it can be hard to stand out from the crowd but luckily we have our A-list crew to put us above the rest! They truly love what they do, and want each person to leave Milford Sound as wowed as they are each day! We really appreciate your multiple visits and kind support, and who knows - hopefully we will see you for the threepeat some day in the future :-) Best wishes, Kate
