I have never seen so many beautiful waterfalls in my life, only in Milford. No words to describe the beauty of nature.

Fantastic highway to drive. Surrounded with beautiful mountains and some stunning scenary along the way. Driving from Te Anau gave us a lot more time to enjoy the ride and didn't feel rushed.

We started from Te Anau at 7am while the sky was still dark, but not much traffic and not much people. It was a leisure drive, we stopped at almost every possible stop on the way, Mirror Lakes, bathroom break at Knobs Flats, Cascade creek,...More

Travelled on this road in a tour coach - small 16 seater. Would definitely recommend this as the best way to travel to Milford. Road can be challenging, and tours know all the best photo stops. Great scenery, unique to NZ, unique to Fiordland

I am sure that this highway is the most beautiful one in the world. Actually, I enjoyed driving along this road more than the cruise! Make a stop and rest, enjoy the mother nature.
