5-Day Stewart Island Tour with Small Group from Dunedin

1 review
This is a very small group tour packed full of adventure but not requiring a high level of fitness. While there is plenty of action for all ages, we often have older retired people on our tours who are still active and love the out doors. We aim to pack in as much as possible each day without compromising on the comfort and rest you'd expect from a holiday like this. We often run the tour for just 2 people. The maximum would be 6 people. We can cater for larger groups on a private tour basis only.<br>You will have your own local guide for the duration of the tour, as well as meeting a number of Stewart Island local guides with all the activities included. We book everything for you and are well prepared for dealing with any unforeseen changes by weather or other circumstances. You will enjoy exploring some of NZ's most remote, pristine and beautiful environments, unique wildlife, hear interesting stories and discover local history. Great food and Stewart Is hospitality is second to none.

A larger than expected collection, of all sorts of vehicles plus smaller collections of things like tea towels, gas pumps, juke box and more. So good for 2-3 hours. There is a little theatre and a lego play area. My favourite were the Volkswagen collection. The restaurant was nice, good service and food. Definitely worth a visit.

Highlight of our trip down south. Spent a few hours there, could have been there longer . Highly recommend, especially if you love old school trucks

The old trucks are one of my favorites also, especially the ones that have the hand paddle for the indicator! Hope to see you again one day soon.

We spent three hours wandering our way around the amazing display of cars and trucks and engines all beautifully restored. A great way to spend an afternoon on a miserably wet, cold and windy Invercargill day. Admission price is reasonably high but well worth it. It is one of the best displays we've seen in the world.

Price to get in was quite expensive, but it is so worth it. The collection of cars and trucks is incredible and the restoration work to get these vehicles looking all shiny is just unbelievable. The range of vehicles is huge and has some quite quirky vehicles. Even the bathrooms have something to surprise you. We had a man chat to us about some of the vehicles and give an insight which was really cool, lovely chap with a passion for cars that's for sure. Loved all the kids pedal cars. Getting some men to leave this place would be a struggle as it has just so much to view. Has a real nice cafe outside too which makes a good lunch stop for the ladies waiting for their partners.

Thank you for your feedback. I also love the pedal car display, just one of the many exciting collections we have inside our doors.
