A fantastic little airline, with great Kiwi services. We booked return flights to Stewart Island as well as their tour of the island and tickets out to Ulva Island. all very easy having a one-stop shop! We were warned about the possibility of very bumpy flying due to the weather in this area, but we had two perfect flights, so what can I say but Lucky :) Not a bump, wonderful vistas and a great pilot. Small aircraft with limited room inside, however we did have every seat filled. The ground staff on Stewart Island were fantastic (thanks, Amy) and I would use them again, no worries at all.

Perfect flights!, smooth travelling with perfect views both ways. Really enjoyed it. Pilot lands like a dream, matching his eyes 😛. Wouldn't travel over any other way. Great service all round.

We really wanted to do a scenic flight over Rakiura (Stewart Island), but instead opted for the flight from Invercargill to Oban on our flight in. Turned out to be a good decision, as the views were amazing on landing and a fun experience. We got to see the beautiful Horsehoe and Halfmoon Bay and the tiny airstrip. The plane is a 8-9 seater so it may not be the best option if you have fear of flying, or it's a very windy day. Our flight departed on time, we had one check in bag each and once carry on luggage each which fitted between our legs. The flight was approx 20 minutes and we had a free shuttle from the airstrip to Oban on landing. Try it out, if the weather's good, it's worth the price.

After doing the trip to Stewart Island on the ferry years ago, we decided to fly this time. The only positive was the really short duration of the flight. The planes are old and noisy and they cramped 10 people (incl. the pilot) into the tiny cabin. Wearing face masks looked like a joke with no distancing at all. Next time it will be the ferry again.

Flying to Mason Bay and landing on the beach was a great experience. On the day of flying it was very windy and Sam wasn’t sure if he could land near Duck Creek. I was so pleased he did as it would have been a long walk to Mason bay hut. We were doing the Coast to Coast trip. As we were staying longer in Oban, we had extra baggage and the team were more than happy to get it to Oban for us to pickup after our tramp. On the flight back from Oban we were in a bigger plane and the trip went very smoothly. It was great sitting in the van at the end of the runway as the plane flew over us before it landed.
