I did not have a chance to get inside of the building, but I can tell that this building has an outstanding exterior architecture. It is right next to the Octagon.

Visited on Monday 30th April. The Town Hall entrance fronts The Octagon and goes through to Moray Place where the entrance is to the Concert Hall. Two separate buildings now joined together over the years. Worth having a closer look at if you have the...More

I only saw the outside of the building and it is a good looking old building. Beside it there is a very pretty old church.

A beautiful building in the main Octagon area of the city. Lovely architecture and an old scottish look. You are likely to pass when walking through the streets.

Our superb town-hall looks great with the recent face-lift. Best acoustics of any such venue in the country, and they have been carefully protected, beautiful entry and auditorium and tasteful furnishings. All well complemented by the adjoining smaller Dunedin Centre. The Royal male choir on...More

"Town Hall" sounds modest, but this building contains a spectacular auditorium. It's worth a peek if you have a chance, and it's just off the Octagon. (TripAdvisor isn't offering the usual link to attach photos to this review. If that opens up after they post...More
