Absolute shambles, the guys name is Manu Douglas. We drove from 3 hours away on my birthday for the trip and the guy just didn't show up. Didn't answer phone etc. Hope his place goes up in flames. Locals I spoke to said the same. Unreliable guy that has done this to a lot of tourists. Don't trust this guy or any future company. Zero stars.

An absolute disgrace cancelled the trip 7 minutes before the trip was due to start we were stood outside ready. We had booked this trip 6 days prior, loads of time to cancel. Said he was not open and behind in paperwork and not legal to open - close your booking system or at least check it and cancel trips when they are booked then! Do not recommend. Highly unprofessional!

Halfway between Portobello & The Albatross Sanctuary, opposite Monarch Cruises is a great little roadside stall. Fantastic coffee served in china cups often with complementary banana bread, really good fish (panko crumbed) & chips with homemade coleslaw. If you dont mind sitting outside (complimentary binoculous) & limited food options you wont be disappointed & you choose what you pay. Became our regular coffee spot in our few days on the Peninsula.

I took my partner - her 2nd time in a kayak. We went at a leisurely pace up past pilots beach. We saw various shags, seals on the rocks, and one lolling about in the seaweed. And then one of the little blue penguins on the way back, and finally a big stingray under us in the sandy shallows. Tea & cake in the roadside cafe next door afterwards.

Stopped in for a coffee and cake. Great, friendly service and a lovely setting. Highly recommend to stop before or after a wildlife cruise or on your way to the Albatross colony.
