The staff are very helpful. Ask them anything and everything and they will help. This is the place to go to find out all about Dunedin and surrounds and their is DOC office information plus tourist leaflets about stuff from all over NZ.

The staff didn't acknowledge us at all, but that's fine as we just wanted to browse. Heaps of pamphlets on what to do in Dunedin and the rest of NZ. Situated in the Octagon. Good for information on "what to do" in Dunedin

We arrive on a cruise in November and dock in the Port of Chalmers. Is there frequent transportation from the port to Dunedin and return?

There are public buses ever half hour in the morning and every 40 mins or so in the afternoon.
