Had a Ritual Massage with Sapphire today. Absolutely amazing staff, warm welcome, calming atmosphere, overall one of the best experiences I've had! Would highly recommend this place, and will definitely be going back :)

Oh my goodness - If you haven't had a traditional Indian Head Massage you need to go have one here with the beautiful Sharon. I was just walking past and saw that Pacific Bliss do walk ins and decided to have one. It was the most relaxing floating experience and I highly recommend it - best $55 I've spent for ages in fact I even went back at the end of the day and had a luxurious 90 minute massage with Sharon - Heaven. Pacific Bliss Heaven!!

My first massage and Sapphire made me feel very comfortable. Kept checking that the pressure and I was okay with everything she was doing. Very welcoming.

Finding a Therapist who is obviously very skilled and talented in body therapy. But not just qualified but massages from her heart. Sapphire has very healing hands, she was so intuitive in her work and and respectful of my deafness I didn't feel awkward.
I have now had Hot Stone, Ear Candling and Indian Head Massage. I have suffered a concussion and Sapphire's healing hands shifted some stagnant energy (in the form of emotional stress from the experience) and I finally feel my healing is complete. This is quite profound for me after 2 years of trying to leave it behind!!!
I cannot rate her highly enough, having had massages from UK (where I qualified myself) to NZ, she is definitely the most gifted therapist I have found.
She will be my Go To Therapist from now on! Thank you so much!

I went to this spa as a relative was in training. The owner sat in the room on her phone which for one is incredibly unprofessional when the treatment I was receiving was a Brazilian, which is a vulnerable position to be in in the first place. I didn’t bring this up at the time as I was in a bit of shock. The boss also was talking about very personal opinions on waxing preferences which didn’t really seem appropriate, as I was there for training purposes I just tolerated this. My relative who no longer works here did amazingly however. I hope the boss doesn’t do this in other circumstances, as I wouldn’t recommend someone to get a treatment like a Brazilian wax when a phone is out in the open. Date is estimate.

When we call in people for training we are doing just that, we talk openly with our employees and training stag about personal experiences and what worked best and does not. I was simply using my phone in there in oder to both be in there and doing my spa work. I dont think it's fair you didn't say anything at the time n also didn't understand what training would entail and a review is about a Normal service we provide and not for training as that experience would be a different one. Hope this clarifies things for you. Thanks

My husband and I just had massages with Hayley. Not only do we both feel amazingly relaxed, but we both so appreciated Hayley and her professional, kind, relaxed, and lovely demeanor. This was our first time at Pacific Bliss and we will definitely be back. Thank you, Hayley. Was such a pleasure meeting you!

I came to Pacific Bliss Day Spa, for a Brazilian Wax. This was the most traumatic experience I have ever had in a spa. She placed the hot wax all over in every spot, then the wax went super hard so made it impossible to rip off the wax, and not to mention incredibly painful, brought me into tears. Then I got told it was my fault and that my hair was too thick to wax. I was left with wax still on my body and hairs everywhere when I left. I just do not recommend Pacific Bliss spa at all highly disappointed in the service, and left in so much pain even days after the wax.

I am sorry you had a bad experience with the Brazilian treatment. However i feel like i should respond so that the viewer get the full picture of what actually happened.
if you remember correctly I didn’t charge you the full price and only charged you $10 even though you insisted to pay half of a treatment for a service you clearly were unhappy about before thanking me and leaving.
I explained how it was so painful due to the fact the hair was coarse as you had told me you shaven after i started the process as well in the hope not to blame you as you mentioned but to explain the situation. the explanations were facts. I even recommended getting laser done for you as i do with some of my clients who experience a lot of pain if their hair is coarse and dark even though i would lose them as clients I would rather not have them come for a Brazilian, so we do have a lot of compassion towards our clients.
We have done many Brazilians and didn’t do anything that was out of the ordinary for you. the fact that we do it so fast and efficiently is a reason people do come back to us.
I feel extremely saddened that you felt you had to put the review everywhere though even though I didn’t charge you the full price took time to explain and was compassionate towards you.

On my trip to Dunedin I found Pacific Bliss online and booked a Hot Stone Massage online. Booking was very easy.
I was so lucky to get Sapphire Lorden, she has given me the most relaxing and beautiful massage. She sent me to heaven and it was pure bliss.
I have had previously many other massages, so i can tell when somebody has great knowledge of the body.
Her massage was outstanding so I had to go back the next day for a head massage which was as well incredibly wonderful!
I can highly recommend Pacific Bliss and Sapphire she is very passionate about her job and making feel people pampered!

I had my first experience at Pacific bliss today. I am not ussually one to write reviews but I was soo impressed with the quality of service today I couldn't help myself. Rahilla offered me threading over waxing today, I was a little nervous but she was so reassuring through the whole process and made me feel very comfortable. And the results were incredible! This woman is highly skilled in what she does and it was a very positive and relaxing experience. I would absolutely recommend and will be a return customer for long while yet! Aaand bonus there was not a long wait list to be able to book!
