Faultless - Eco Tourism at it’s best
Highly recommend the Argo Wildlife Tour - just enough of a safe adrenalin rush for any age, with spectacular 360 degree views of fantastic coastline. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and engaged with the area and the wildlife. Plenty of wildlife to see, with unmatchable access to a unique location. Really great value.

    What an amazing experience !!!
We had a couple of choices to see penguins in Dunedin - luckily the other one was too busy and we booked with Nature's Wonders. What an amazing experience !!! from the friendly reception by Tracey to the spectacular ride through the farm , driven by Perry. We saw seals close up - a matter of a few feet away in some cases and some of which were just hours old, Then we got to see Blue Penguins only inches away - you cannot see this anywhere else. What Tracey and Perry have created here is a wonderful, completely natural, awesome view of nature as it should be. This is a working farm with the most spectacular views over the Otago Peninsula and is home to hundreds of seals and penguins in an unspoilt habitat. They really care for the environment and you will be entranced by what you see. And .. to top it off they are such lovely, friendly people who will make you feel totally welcome. Highly recommended !!

Best wildlife experience of my life - incredibly close to wildlife ecotourism
Took us around in a 8 wheel drive all terrain vehicle. Went to see fur seals: we had to walk around a baby one that was sitting on the path less than 1m away ignoring us. Then went to see penguins which were in nests with chicks which you could see inside less than 1m away. I don't think I'll ever have a better experience than this. They reinvest funds to improve the area and resist development to keep the pristine environment. Perry was friendly and enthusiastic about the work done there and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience - nature and wildlife 100% garanteed
Dec.20th 2023 : The weather was foggy but the sun got through making it even more magical as we discovered the very end of the peninsula up and down the hills. We took the 8-wheel drive tour (already a fun experience) and saw so many fur seals (new borns too) and then the penguins. Our kids (5 and 11) still say it was the best tour we've done after one month. Thanks again to Perry and his lovely wife for sharing their amazing corner of the world and making it so special to us.

    Nature at its best.
We went to visit the albatross colony but the access was too steep for one of our party, then we spotted the sign for Natures Wonders and decided to have a look. We are so glad we did. We had a coffee in the cafe and asked the friendly lady serving about the tours; she checked and said there was one leaving in an hour they could fit us into. We saw the previous tour returning and saw they really enjoyed the experience. And so did we. Perry was a laugh a minute, very knowledgeable and passionate about his corner of paradise, and a great driver of the Argo, too. We saw untouched beaches, baby seals, baby penguins and were treated to hair raising rides through near vertical goat tracks. Well worth it.

Worth the money and a must do
We first visited the Royal Albatros Center and then we found (you have to drive up on the other side of the hill) Nature's Wonders. We were so lucky. It was very quiet around noon and we arrived just 10 minutes before the start of one of there Agro Wildlife Tour. Perry, the owner of this wonderful place, was there and explained us everything. So we just jumped on and it was a wonderful experience. We saw many Seals (mothers with baby's) and we got to see the Little Blue Penguins. What they have done there for all these animals is just great. It's really worth the money. And the ride on the special, powerful "Golf Carts" is hilarious but not dangerous.

    Wow! Fantastico!
We come from Italy and for us the experience of seing seals and penguins from such a short distance was absolutely fantastic. The one-hour ride up the hills and down to the beach is something we'll never forget. Perry and his staff are true nature-lovers who put their souls in their work, we're so glad that we could experience for a short time the beauty they see every day. Definitely worth visiting!

    Amazing Argo Tour
Took an Argo Tour during a vacation in NZ and had a wonderful time. Our guide was very informative and helpful, the views were amazing, and we were so excited to see both blue penguins and yellow-eyed penguins. Would recommend to others looking for a close up of the wildlife on the Otago Peninsula.

We were all so excited to visit and see the penguins after a long journey from the UK....
No wonder all the other tours were booked up and we could get availability on this one...
All we saw was a few fur seals from a distance and a couple of blue penguins locked behind wooden shutters on the walkway.... to be honest I couldn't even say if they were real or machinery
Waste of money - do not recommend!

We stumbled across this adventure and it was just magnificent - amazing up close experience with penguins and a natural colony of seals all along a just delightful and majestic untouched coastline, as well as a most entertaining and informative guide and owner, Perry. Highly recommended, worth the trip up the gravel road and the coffee wasn’t bad either.

We took our 7.4m 170hp campervan up the steep gravel road and barely made it to the top. The final section is on a very steep corner eiyh loose gravel and we spun across the road a couple if times before taking a run at it and only just making it to the top. It was 1 km steep narrow drive up, so would have been terrible having to back down, especially if we'd come across someone coming up.
There was no one on the desk & I mentioned it to a guy in uniform at the Cafe and he said really rudely several times "You must be a really bad driver" in a sarcastic tone.
I said to a woman who got involved that years ago we had been to a yellow eyed penguin tour further down the road, and she went off too.
Outside I asked another couple what their experience was, and they said they'd sold out so it didn't matter to them.
We observed atvs arriving back at a very fast speed. Glad we weren't on one of them.
Then a huge 30 seat bus came up the road. I'm glad we missed it, as I don't think there'd have been room for both of us.
Maybe just for young people in smaller cars.
