We took the Argo tour as a family - 2 adults, 2 young kids (6&8). Had the most amazing experience - up close encounters with seal & penguins as well as world class views and expert tourists. So brilliant! Worth every penny. Highly recommended! Plus going in an Argo was fun!!!!

I saw blue penguins few days before in dunedin. I asked the tour guide in am whether this tour can see yellow eyes penguins and fur seals. This is what I really like to see in this tour. The tour guide kept saying we have many different kinds of yellow eyes penguins you can be seen in this tour and can't find it anywhere in NZ. I finally went to the wildlife tour. I can only see some fur seals ( this part is good) and blue penguin nest but none of yellow eyes penguins can be found.
The tour guide should tell customers now might not be the good timing to see yellow eyes penguins or may be only several or none. Customers can decide to go or not. I felt the tour guide said too much but actually the tour is not what he really told me.

What a wonderful visit we had to Nature’s Wonders.
Especially enjoyed the exciting ride on the 8 wheel Argo across the farm with Perry to get to the penguins and seals. A marvellous experience to see the wild life in their natural environment. Just delightful to see the penguin chicks and adults up close without disturbing them.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Thanks Perry

Natures Wonders is incredible! Breathtaking views and the experience is .. well .. you can’t find this experience anywhere else on this planet. The Argo was super fun, and Perry and the team are super friendly and super accommodating. Getting to witness the seals and their pups and the penguins in their natural habitat was indescribable. I was honestly lost for words. This is a must do when you’re in Dunedin. Thanks Perry! :-)

Amazing experience, we had a fantastic time with the whole family. Perry was a great host and his knowledge and stories are so much fun.
Definitely recommended and if I had to choose between the nearby albatross colony and this, I would 100% do the tour at natures wonders again!

Stunning. Simply stunning. Up close and personal with seals and penguins. You can see Albatross in full flight.

We did the Argo tour, four wheel drive excitement, on private land. It is beautiful and rugged. It is full of wildlife, seen up close and personal with you tour guide giving you facts while driving in huge Rita, tiny tracks and steep hills. It’s terrifyingly exhilarating. You are safe but you get the thrill of the unexpected. They give you a jacket to wear for mud splatters. Shoes get muddy!!! Dress warmly.

The children loved every minute of it!

Takes about 50 minutes to drive down the bays from Dunedin. It’s a gorgeous drive though.

I’ve uploaded photos. The wee tracks are penguin tracks. We saw them nesting but I didn’t take a photo.

Spectacular scenery in all directions. Natural, untouched beaches with seals, birds, little blue penguins, yellow eyed penguins, & sea lions. Viewing areas carefully built to enable clear sight. Saw a yellow eyed penguin returning from the sea, nesting little blue penguins, seal pups etc... Fun overland vehicle to tour the rugged terrain. Excellent guide who willingly answered any questions and stopped vehicle for photo opportunities. This is a well established family owned & operated businesses. A must visit!
