Really comprehensive look at all sorts of things - was surprised by the amount of items in a really well laid out floor plan. Was great to have the interconnecting galleries to follow.

I'd heard that the Otago Museum is free and well worth a visit and that you can spend hours there but we didn't have that long and decided to concentrate on the butterflies. There is a $10 per adult admission fee for this part of...More

Probus ladies had an afternoon at the Museum, going to the planetarium show to look at the stars. It was amazing and so much information. After afterwards a look around the area and a lovely coffee and cake from the café. A very nice afternoon.

Very bright and open space to walk around, so many things to see. I enjoyed the room of the native birds most. It's cool to see the fossils of the Moa birds.

We could have spent days, rather than the 2 hours we had to explore. It was a fascinating insight into how the various pacific cultures lived and travelled. Highly recommended.

We stumbled past and are so glad we did - this museum had a Monet and a Pissarro as well as some great modern exhibitions. They had a great Benson and Hedges costume exhibition and some wonderful modern pieces
