The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and they must have been trained to communicate with little ones! They are all so good with kids!!! Free entrance into the main museum n the animal attic is amazing for kids.

This is a Fantastic small museum, great for the kids, especially the butterfly enclosure. Its even better if its a cold day as the enclosures temp is set for 27 degrees and it is so toasty.

Despite being a museum, this has also got very good interactive science displays for the family, live butterflys (they will land on you if you are lucky), and a awesome planetarium :)

Thanks for the review! You are correct about the old design - the Animal Attic, though it has been restored with Victorian flair, actually dates back to 1877 when the Museum first opened on Great King Street.
