We had the best tour with Nick, who is an excellent guide! We were in a campervan so we didn't need picking up - Nick pushed back the start time so we got a bit of a lie in which was very kind. He took us on an amazing tour of the Peninsula with beautiful views and we got to go to an entirely deserted beach and see some seals in their natural habitat. Nick was full of really interesting facts and also provided us with a mid-trip snack of a cereal bar and fresh strawberries from his garden. The whole experience was really chilled and informative, we would definitely recommend it for the best way to see the Peninsula.

We (family of four- ages 72, 56, 29, & 25) took a cruise of New Zealand & noticed that in the port of Dunedin, none of the excursions offered through the ship really caught our interest. We wanted to experience the NZ countryside and not sit on a tourbus all day after being on the ship for so long. So I headed to TripAdvisor and found this bike tour and thought we'd give it a shot! We were picked up by Nick across the street from the cruise port & found him with ease. He took us in his van with another other couple from the ship on a 30 minute scenic drive around the Otago Peninsula to pick up our bikes. We opted for E-Bikes since we are not very experienced bikers and are soooo happy we did. Honestly couldn't have done without them even though we are all in good health. The other couple on our trip goes on bike tours often and said they wished they would have gotten the E-Bikes because the hills were very intense going both up and down. They had to walk their normal bikes up all the hills, that's how challenging they were. With that being said, the views of the New Zealand countryside made the hard work + sweat all worth it! We saw tons of birds, sheep, and little lambs, too! The hills were green, lush, and quiet. No other tourists in sight- it felts very special to see it all. Nick provided us with yummy granola bars at the halfway point but make sure to bring your own water. The E-Bikes made the trip much more enjoyable as well. Thanks Nick for the awesome tour. Definitely recommend for everyone of ages 16+! (Not sure how safe I'd feel having young children do this tour on the hills with the heavy bikes).

Our family of five was lucky enough to do a bike tour with nick as part of our cruise stop over in Dunedin. From the start, the tour was fantastic. We were picked up at Dunedin station and taken out to a spot where we started the tour. The e bikes we had were fantastic and needed given the size of the hills. The views were outstanding and Nick was happy to provide the history and origins of the area. Nick also dropped us off at the cruise ship with nothing being too hard with dealing with a young family. I would highly recommend this tour for everyone who wishes to see Dunedin in a different way.

We've got really lucky, we were just the two of us and we had Nat as our guide, an extra price. Showing us the very best of the Otago Peninsula. The ride had some taughs hills and some tricky beach dunes but it was totally worth it.
