Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic quick stop with a very helpful gentleman showing us around the train. One very happy child.

Whilst visiting the railway station we came across this old steam engine on display. There was a nice old gentleman there to answer and questions and you could get on and walk around outside. Also, it's free.

Can be a quick visit. A boat must have been in today. It was open with someone showing them around, but not sure if it cost anything. Usually you can walk around the outside.

Sitting in a huge glass building (box), is this beautiful, steam train, in perfect nick, we love how it has been put on display with loving care rather then left in a yard somewhere left to rust. Probably not a standalone attraction, however definitely, worth a look when visiting the railway station.

The steam train is located in a glass house between the Settlers Museum and Railway Station. The entrance is toward the railway side of the building. Entry is free but a gold coin donation is appreciated.
We had one of the old workers there to give us the backstory of the train and how it ran, picking up and dropping off mail and other things between towns. The train is huge and you can actually go into the driver's area to see where the coal gets shoveled to and from. There is a small stairway at the front of the train where you can walk on the gravel beside the train to get an idea of how big it really is.
A really interesting stop and worth taking a look.
