Visit to Larnach Castle wash a bit rushed. Enjoyed the Devonshire Tea but would have preferred more time exploring the castle and the surrounds. Olveston House was very interesting and worth while visiting. Our Driver/Guide was very accommodating considering the time restraints.

One of the best tours we had in our 11 day tour to NZ. Russell as a tour manager was the best. Very friendly, knowledgeable, humble human being.
The great part was that me and my wife were the only two ppl and got a customised and personal tour. Big thanks to Russell for going on with the tour even just for 2 ppl.
The tour gave us the best of Otago peninsula when it comes to the natural scenic beauty and the exotic flora and fauna. We got the breathtaking views of the Pacific, saw large number of Seals, and also glimpses of the famous and rare Yellow eyed penguin apart from the city tour of Dunedin comprising of the old railway station, palace and world's steepest street etc.
This is a highly recommended tour for any person visiting NZ.

We booked this tour as our stop on a cruise ship. When the cruise ship changed the arrival time, Tourworks reached out and adjusted our tour time to fit our itinerary. Russ picked us up in a van and we had a wonderful afternoon exploring all the highlights of Dunedin. We didn’t feel rushed and felt we made the most of our time in port. My favorite part was the trip off the beaten path to see the seals on the beach. Thanks Russ for a great day!

What a great day we’ve had with Russ. He met us in the port terminal & we were quickly off ahead of schedule. The small bus meant we were able to access view points larger buses couldn’t. Great views, photo stops & history along the way. A stop at Larnach Castle provided opportunity for coffee/lunch. The highlight for us had to be a visit to a beach off the beaten track to see the sealions basking on the sand. A special end to a great day. Thank you, Russ.

Absolutely Fabulous!
This trip was led by Russ, a very experienced, knowledgeable, articulate, humerous and all round Nice guy.
We toured around visiting great viewpoints, stopping off at Lanarch Castle for lunch and a walk about, a penguin reserve and an albatross viewpoint.
All in all a teriffic day which I would highly recommend.

We booked this tour for a cruise on Ovation of the Seas. What a great find! Instead of a bus full of 45 passengers, we were met by Russ whose beautiful van seated 10 of us in comfort and luxury. We saw all the major sites and Russ’ commentary was great. We visited a beautiful beach and got to see seals close up. Russ made sure we arrived back in time for all aboard! Just a great day. Highly recommended.

Russ did a fantastic job. He was very informative and with this being a small tour it was very individualized feeling. We saw a lot of stuff and a comfortable manner. I would highly recommend this tour.

About what time would the tour conclude?
Do we actually get to go inside the railway station and some of the other sites listed?

If the ship decides to change course and not stop at this port is there a refund or partial refund?

Hello Tina,
Thank you for your message.
Yes, we can do the tour on the day you are here. We will wait for you to disembark the ship for our departure. I have your ship arriving at 8:30am so if you try and get off the ship swiftly after docking then we will do the whole tour and have you back at Port for 4pm.
We would definitely enter the Railway Station and take some time there, it’s a beautiful building. We visit many sites on the tour and will let you know which ones we recommend entering on the day. At Larnach Castle we pay for garden entry - if you would like to enter the castle we would negotiate that on the day.
Our cancellation policy is detailed on our website. If your ship cannot enter Port for any reason we would refund 100%.
