Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There is more to this Domain than what you can see from the front. Playpark and a little aubourium. If you turn to the left you can follow the boardwalk out over the wetlands. Worth checking out with the guardians password at the end of the walk. It is only 10 mins long.

As I have listed before in Harwood Domain which is across the Harbour on the Portobello Peninsular the Aramoana Domain is a camping ground run by the Department of Conservation.

However, according to the Locals, there have been issues with Hoons driving around the camping ground in their cars. So now the gates are locked, and the keys are issued after a deposit has been paid.

However the instructions are not clear and therefore if you are unable to get a place to camp there, then there is a couple of alternatives. One is near the walkway, across the Mudflats. There are a couple of picnic tables there.

OIr the other place in in a small dingly dell near the Wharf road, and we camped there overnight, it was sheltered from the wind and the rain and we were welcomed there by one of the locals.
