After reading the reviews on here, I wasn't planning to mention Cadbury World to the kids. As we drove in to town from the airport, we went past and our son (who has recently learnt to read) picked it straight away! We walked in, expecting...More

Fun & fascinating tour which lasts about 1.25 hours. We saw how Cadbury make the Roses and Favourites and the hollow easter eggs. Did I mention the free chocolate you accumulate throughout the tour. The cadbury store also offers family blocks at a great discounted...More

We should have read the reviews here before we went on the tour! My wife and I were very disappointed with it. The main disappointment with the tour was seeing very little functioning manufacturing machinery up close. In fact, the only one (two?) such machine...More

We did the tour early in the day. To be honest I haven't been on any other tours like it so i don't have anything to compare it to. Of course you cant take cameras on the tour and some of the machines were down...More

Like other people have mentioned this tour is not the best tour and quite expensive. I thought you'd be able to see the chocolate in the machines and squirting out the chocolate but none of that. Just a whole lot of talking by the tour...More

The Cadburys factory tour is much like other Cadbury factory tours over the world and i imagine other chocolate factory tours, having got the original factory in UK it wasnt much different, the only difference and interesting thing was the fact that all the NZ...More

Imagine a Willy Wonka Cholocate Factory tour...... then flush it down the toilet!! That's it in a nutshell. It starts with a self-guided tour looking at the history of chocolate and the Cadbury empire. Then everybody gather to watch a brief DVD and collect a...More

A complete waste of both time and money . A high price to pay for a small bag of chocolate, and absolutely nothing to see of interest. I took some overseas visitors and felt totally ashamed about this rip-off.

We visited the cadbury factory in Dunedin and thought the cost of the tour was quite excessive for what you got. We are sure you can get better value for your money on other attractions in Dunedin eg Train ride.

You will be able to get a cab / Taxi in from where ever your ship docks and then get dropped off at Cadbury's . What ever you do, make sure that you also include the Chinese Gardens as they are well worth a visit.
