On a stopover in Dunedin we explored the city and stumbled across the chocolate factory, and because the price of a tour is reasonable thought we’d give it a go. Whilst waiting for the tour to start there’s a few information boards and videos to...More

Visited before production stopped, but it makes no difference to the tour as you never got to see the factory anyway. The guide said they would move to the building across the courtyard. This might not happen as the area will be used for the...More

We went back in January before it closed. Not a great tour, you are not missing much by the closure. We got a small amount of freebie chocolates and walked around the inside guided by a pleasant lady. Tour took about 40 mins.

You will be able to get a cab / Taxi in from where ever your ship docks and then get dropped off at Cadbury's . What ever you do, make sure that you also include the Chinese Gardens as they are well worth a visit.
