Cadbury World Experience was pretty good. If you are stuck in Dunedin, its probably one of the best things to do for a family with kids, however I would just avoid Dunedin completely. Outside Dunedin, there are plenty of amazing things to see.

Well worth a visit - take the tour and the price of chocolate is the cheapest you'll find anywhere - even some brands you won't get elsewhere. Friendly staff - best to go early as tour book quick.

Did the $5 self guided museum tour and it wasn’t bad given the price. Was pleased with the amount of chocolate we got. The cafe at the end is fun too.

We stopped here on a cruise and visited the Cadbury factory. Just a short walk from the centre of the city. Our guide made our visit a very enjoyable experience. Recommended.

You will be able to get a cab / Taxi in from where ever your ship docks and then get dropped off at Cadbury's . What ever you do, make sure that you also include the Chinese Gardens as they are well worth a visit.
