Guided central city walking tours ,led by experienced and knowledgeable volunteer guides who are enthusiastic to show you their unique city. Small groups (usually less than 10 walkers) provides an opportunity to interact with your local guides and other walkers. See our website walkchristchurch.nz or brochure for details of our scheduled walk CHRISTCHURCH OTAUTAHI HIGHLIGHTS WALK - an interesting and informative introduction to Christchurch -how it was ,how it is and how it will be . Operates every day (except Xmas Day ,Good Friday and Anzac day) at 10.30am -leaves from Clocktower Arts Centre (cnr Worcester blvd & Rolleston Ave) . Adults $20. This leisurely walk is 2 -2.5 hours. Our guide, Julie, was informative, accommodating and very pleasant. A really interesting way to learn a great deal about Christchurch (history, current period and future plans) in a short period of time. Highly recommended.

We found this two hour walk around Christchurch fascinating. Diane led the group at a pace showing the history and character of Christchurch pre and post earthquake. Highly recommended walking tour

We really enjoyed this walking trip. Brian was very informative, knowledgeable and friendly. While we knew about the earthquake, seeing the extent of the devastation, and hearing from a local about what used to be where and seeing the huge task of the reconstruction has given us a much greater appreciation of what it did to the city. We covered a lot of ground - this was certainly value for money. Thanks Brian.

Donna gave us an amazing tour of Christchurch on our first morning here. She was so informative and knowledgeable and gave us a real insight into the city. We were able to carry on in the afternoon to revisit highlights suggested by her. Well worth the money which goes to the restoration of the City Art Centre. Thanks Donna.

This walking trip is a must do! It was the highlight of our time in Christchurch. Murray, our guide, was so knowledgeable about everything that had to do with the city. So glad we had this time to learn so much about this beautiful place!

I hope by now that you have accessed our website, i-Site or kiosk to get an answer. The kiosk is open at least 30 minutes before each walk and the next is 1pm.
