Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited the Market mainly to listen to The Big Bands playing in the city this weekend. Lovely morning to sit in the sun and listen to some great music. Wandered around the food and coffee stalls, lots of choices of lovely fresh food, not the usual Thai and pizzas, but Lebanese and whitebait fritters. We then wandered over to the craft and produce stalls. One or two jewellery stands, homemade preserves, free range eggs and fruit and veg and some beautiful fresh venison was on display today. Not a huge market and I imagine the produce stalls change depending on the season. Not a large market, but well worth a visit. Lots of parking on all the surrounding streets.

stroll around the beautiful commons site and shop and snack on local products. With buskers and games on the lawn, i can't think of a better way to spend a sunday. Brab a loaf of good honest bread to take home for dinner.

When in Christchurch, a must 'go to' is the Downtown Farmers Market on Kilmore Street. It has everything from the required vegies, meats (Salami and associated when I was there); cheeses; delicious pastries and the obligitary strong coffee and more + Games for the kids and big kids making it easy to hang around a while

We've been here a few times now to get our veggies for the week and love that the organic vege sellers from the Riccarton House market are here. There's also a great selection of food trucks and other yummy ready to eat food. Theres always something interesting happening on the green with things for kids to do and laid back live music.
