We enjoyed a leisurely afternoon tea stop at the ice-cream shop/cafe as we watched the tram and passers by. Lots of great places to eat along this strip - interesting architecture.

We were staying nearby and wanted to dine and wander around outside the hotel and New Regent Street was a pleasant surprise having a number of attractive shops and eateries.

While walking around the 'city' we stumbled across new regent street. The buildings are quirky and beautiful. Very picturesque.

We had a evening stroll through New Regent Street on our way to The Christchurch Tram Restaurant, very nice buildings with ladders in front of the windows ( just for show ) same nice cafes and liked Rollickin's Gorilla seating on a bench

A quaint street with Art Deco buildings that is on the tram route and close to hotels. A variety of places to eat as well as jewellery stores. Well worth a look
