Where do I start? Well, perhaps with an engagement ring that we purchased a year ago from Young's Jewellers who specialise in antiques. Via Sollatia Jewellers are two doors down and they carefully and generously re-built the said ring after it disintegrated somewhat. Wonderful service...More

Visited on Tuesday 22nd May. We just went for a walk along Regent Street to check out some of the brightly coloured building, it was too early to stop for something to eat or visit one of the many bars there.

Definitely worth a stroll and a ice cream from the ice cream shop down here! Such a beautiful little street!

Unfortunately most of the buildings were covered in scaffolding during my visit, completing repairs from the recent earthquake. However, the street-level restaurants, shops and bars are open for business and the selection of all is terrific.

Came through here for a drink and snack, loved wandering along the street and forgetting where i was. this is a lovely recreated european style street, and some of the little shops are really quaint

Not sure I would go out of my way to visit the street, but there are beautiful building down the street and the tram lines which makes it a place to enjoy a drink.

Worth a visit to see a nicely restored street. The tram travels through adding charm and the old style building with colour are classy. Not so much a place for bargains, more worth a look.

A very quirky street, however nothing hugely inspiring when compared with other similar streets in Hawkes Bay and some overseas. Quite quaint though and an interesting mixture of shops.
