Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were staying close by and decided to see if it looked as good in the flesh as on the Net. It was very appealing. We had a great night, ate at a marvellous restaurant, and observed and soaked up a good atmosphere, Many cafes would be open in the morning, where as the restaurants are open in the evenings. Great street to go and drink coffee, eat, or have a drink in.

This is a fun street to hang out on day or night. It has lots of good spots for a quick bite, a good drink or a tempting dessert. There's also a tram that goes down the middle of this street so watch out. If you're planning to just walk through it could be a quick detour but if you want a bite to eat you could plan to spend an hour or more here.

I really just went to this street to watch the trams come down as that is one of the iconic photos of Christchurch. Was not disappointed in that regard as a tram comes down every couple of minutes so you get a nice shot.
Apart from that, this is a colourful busy street with plenty of places to eat and hang out. Good for a snack or a coffee to sit outside at one of the tables and just watch the world go by.

This maybe was once a funky area, but now seems reconstructed and very uniform. The houses have an interesting design, not like the rest of town, and there are lots of restaurants with sidewalk service. It is only a block long, but worth seeing. go for lunch.

THis is a very peculiar discovery in the centre of Christchurch. A short street, close to the Cathedral, where you can see a list of small buildings in the Spanish Missions style. And plenty of cafes, resataurants, bars, etc.... Ah, and Christchurch's famous tramway crosses it entirely. It's a funny place to have lunch

Picturesque narrow street with cafes, restaurants and businesses trading along its length. Take note that the facades are mirrored on the opposite side of the street. The tram is the only vehicular traffic on this street.

Went through here on the tram and it looked really cool so decided to come back for a second look. It was Christmas day so everything was closed but that made it easier to enjoy. Very bust social scene with trendy restaurants and small shops
