Restaurants and shops on a uniquely appearing street. Not much else to say for it. You will want to see it, but probably don’t need to spend much time there.

This short street is utterly charming - and it is also a wonderful relic of pre-quake Christchurch. Many of the eateries are touristy, but Penelope's is an exception and is highly recommended for homestyle food and excellent coffee within spitting distance of the passing trams.

After spending time in Melbourne, I found the cafes and restaurants highly priced in this street..............smaller population I guess. Plenty of cafes and restaurants here and also funky little stores and lots of street seating.........came here twice on our short visit.

The street is rather short and it doesn't take long to visit. There are some cute shops along with a tourist shop to pick up your NZ souvenirs. There are a couple of bars and restaurants as well. You can park nearby and visit here...More
