Do spend some time walking around this imaginative redevelopment by Re: Start. It's use of adapted containers for banks, shops and food outlets is unique, plus some modern, creative approaches to street art are well worth exploring. Combine it with a trip to Quake City...More

Like in a previous review I like the way they have adapted to using old storage containers to keep the small business owners going until reconstruction is done unless the owners want to keep this as the new shopping district then also a good idea.

I love this area, amazing what a yown can invent after an earthquake, a entire block just made of nice 20 feet containers! Small shops mixed whit food trucks covering food from all around the world
