A challenge to nature and the people of Canterbury, a great little shopping oasis and all credit to the creators and defiant merchants back in the heart of the city !!! Bravo !!!

Wonderful colourful, respectful and fun place to visit. Great shops and cafes and atmosphere. Amazing to view the goings on in central Christchurch post earthquake also. Felt quite surreal and healing to visit. Awesome way to draw people back to city. Loved the sculptured animal...More

What a difference post earthquake. most of the shops we had previously visited are gone. In its place a container mall - what a brilliant idea but it needs to be extended to incorporate more 'everyday' shopping.

Poor Cashel Street, this street looks as though it was nearly almost destroyed but due to the determination of the business people it is back on its feet again & we really enjoyed this new contemporary container shopping centre, very bright & the flowers everywhere...More
