Love going here it's like another world. Had afternoon tea at Penny Black the most outstanding place for afternoon tea that I have been to. Service and food all excellent and the best pork pie I have had anywhere. Tannery shopping is worth a visit

The Tannery has much to offer, great shops, a few really good places to eat, a magnificent cinema but most of all a series of buildings renovated to a very high standard showing a part of Christchurch that is unique.

Nice to stroll around and window shop. No high street stores here - boutiques and quirky home ware stores. Not many options for a coffee.
