My wife and I took our parents and late teenage children to the art gallery. We like to go there often to see the new exhibitions and also to browse the shop and stop in at the cafe/restaurant. The "yellow" exhibit was eclectic and playful....More





free entry was good. lovely space with a mix of collected and local art works. Some galleries offered interactive displays which was good. I am not an art nut so I found it mildly interesting.

The gallery is a wonderful building but I have to say the art did not do a lot for me apart from the Fahey exhibition which was interesting to listen to and I appreciated her paintings.

This is a very nice art gallery with a good selection of contemporary and classic art. They have talk at 11am and 2pm - the stories provide informative highlights and good background information. Would definitely visit again whenever we get another chance.

We found this art museum had a very innovative architecture. Compared to large cities' museums, it is on the small size but quite interesting. The gift shop had a good selection of gifts.
