The building is beautifully light and airy, with a quite pleasing modern design. The revolving exhibits feature a variety of New Zealand art. There were early landscapes by European settlers, some wonderful abstract pieces, as well as quite contemporary works when we were there. It's...More

Amazing venue with a very colourful yellow moon exhibition with a few interactive exhibits. Particularly loved the gallery with informative exhibition of Jacqueline Fahey. Her strong images express the characters well.

Lovely art gallery - very airy and light with a good range of art work. Especially liked the "yellow" exhibits that were on display in January. Make sure not to miss the smiley hand on the roof!
