We walked around for a little bit on a rainy day and still really enjoyed ourselves here. The concept is wonderful and each container has their own twist on what they do with the space provided. We had some delicious coffee at A Mouse Called...More

The collection of shipping containers which was started to bring back a bit of normality after the devastating earthquakes. There are various shipping containers ranging from cafes, craft ,clothes and gifts .Very iconic place to visit.

A wonderful example of people working together following the recent earthquakes. An excellent little cafe, with very hard working and friendly staff. The wonderful food produced here is very impressive.

It's worth a visit not only for the shopping but to appreciate the ingenuity of the people of Christchurch. They built the retail stores with the materials they had available after the 2011 earthquake. All made from shipping containers.

The collection of shops enclosed in containers and interim units gives a feeling of the spirit of recovery and the shopkeepers have an outgoing and positive welcoming attitude. Food and beverages in this area some of the most competitive in the city
