This was rather an emotional tour. Our guide had been through the horrors of the earthquake and suffered home loss etc. We really appreciated where Ch Ch has got to and almost feel that we should come back again in a few years to give...More

Did this trip in early July. I'm sure Jaquie ( I Hope I spelt that right), was the guide on board. Luckily for us, we were the only two on board that day so she gave us her full attention. There was not a question...More

This is a slow trip around the devastation of inner-city Christchurch with 2 stops, the last of which was at the collection of chairs one for each person killed in the quake (about 200 white chairs sitting together outside). We learnt about the problems caused...More

This tour is excellent. It really shows the damage to Christchurch from the sequence of earthquakes and the amazing rebuild job being done by the people. However it is confusing to find your way around at the moment.

There is no carparking directly outside the Museum. There is parking in the Botanical Gardens carpark at the end of Armagh Street. Alternatively there is off-street parking in the area.
