I didn't have to wait long to get my questions answered. Also in or near the building are interesting shops and great food places. Very close to the museum and botanical gardens.

Thanks for your feedback, and we're glad we could answer your questions without having to wait too long. We agree that we're in a beautiful building in a lovely location. Kind regards, Frances
What a fantastic building this I-Site occupies. This has been our favorite and most useful to us of the several we've visited in the past month or so. Our dearest wish was a whale watching trip out of Kaikoura. We had tried to book lodging...More

Thanks for your review, and we're pleased that you were able to be booked onto a Whale Watching trip in Kaikoura, as these are always very popular in summer. It's great to hear that Sasha did an excellent job! Kind regards, Frances
A professional, helpful and informative tourist information centre. Lots of relevant leaflets. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Thanks so much for your review, and we're glad we were able to help. Kind regards, Frances
We decided to make a visit to the Visitor Info Centre and it resulted a very good idea, as personnel provided us with plenty of information and material we needed to plan the next couple of weeks travelling in New Zealand

Thanks for your review, and we're glad we could help with planning your trip! Kind regards, Frances
The shop has a large amount of leaflets etc. However, organisation of the queue to talk to someone is terrible. I waited where indicated whilst two staff ignored me but then allowed someone else to jump in. My have just caught them on a bad...More

Thanks for your feedback. We are working on our queuing system, as this is something we agree needs to be improved upon. We're sorry you felt you were ignored by our staff and we also hope this was just a bad day! We are working...More
I wanted advice on the opening hours for the Teece Gallery (which is in the same complex as the Info Centre) - and was a bit taken aback that the man I asked hadn't heard of it. But another lady was able to help, so...More

Thanks for your feedback. I'm not sure who you spoke to, as everyone I asked knew about the Teece Museum, but we have taken the opportunity to remind our staff about it. We don't expect our staff to know everything (as things are changing constantly...More
Friendly staff good info maps etc for local attractions. Arts centre in same building. Close to museum, art gallery and botanic gardens. Lot of tours including on/off tram are from here. Worth a visit YES. Rated 9/10

Thanks for your review, and we're glad we could be of assistance. Kind regards, Frances
Bought our Tram tickets in here plus a few postcards. Good affordable choice of gifts and good information as well. Thank you for holding onto my drink bottle that I accidentally left there too.

Thanks for your review and we're glad we were able to help. We often get things left behind or handed in so keep a lost property box for things such as your drink bottle. Kind regards, Frances
The information centre at the front of the building has of course everything you want to ‘now when visiting Christchurch. The fudge cottage at the back offers free samples to those with a sweet tooth.

Thanks for your review and we're glad we could help. The Fudge Cottage, just down the corridor from us, does have great fudge and free samples - yum! Kind regards, Frances
If you have just arrived in the city this is a great place to go to get your bearings and find out what you can do in the time available

Thanks for your review, and we agree that the i-SITE is a great first stop for visitors, as we can give out free maps, local information, and advise on how best to spend your time. Kind regards, Frances
