It’s a good and cheap way to see the city though all the 17 stops can actually be explored on foot as Christchurch is a small city. The live commentary was informative. The staff were very nice.

About a 50 mins round ride on the tramway. Passes by all the spots to see. Worthwhile to hop on this ride.

Well after reading so many reviews we took the tram. But there is nothing much as walking to the places such as botanical gardens or the art museum was easier rather than waiting for the tram.
