Lovely grounds with tranquil gardens for a stroll or picnic. Very picturesque with kayakers traveling on lazy river and luscious blooming hydrangeas.

A gentle stroll through beautiful gardens on a lovely sunny summer's day and a cuppa from the restaurant. Lovely! Good chat with one of the gardeners who was keen to share his love of the garden.

On a hot day we went walking in the botanical gardens No charge to visit this wonderful park close to the centre of Christchurch. Wonderful display of flowers especially orchids in the large glasshouses.

Well kept gardens with huge trees and flowers. The rose garden is beautiful. Easy to spend a couple of hours picnicking or just taking a stroll. Saw a few ducks playing by the river. Very relaxing.

More than likely there will be begonias is the greenhouse in flower. There could be several other plants in bloom depending on what the gardeners have been planting in some of the rotational beds.
