We operate nationwide throughout New Zealand - Auckland / Christchurch / Queenstown / Wellington. We operate a fleet of 15 late model Harley Davidsons including Ultra Classics, Roadkings, Softails, Sportster Low, and a Buell. One way rentals and tours are available. We are Qualmark endorsed and pride ourselves on excellent customer service. All our guides are New Zealand born and bred.

On a whim,
My husband to-be and myself hired a sportsglide off Ali and Baz.
They were super responsive and within hours of initial contact I had a quote and confirmed for a 2 day hire.
The bike was well looked after, clean and had all the extras as promised.
Definitely would recommend and do it again.

A very enjoyable experience for the second time this year the bike was an ultra limited super comfortable and so user friendly ,it is very a very well balanced machine and has impeccable road manners for a bike this size Baz and Ali are excellent to deal with and after having travelled to over 30 countries New Zealand roads imo are a motorcycle Meca

The service was excellent! Bikes were great and Baz and Ali on hand as needed . Kept in touch with us to make sure we were all ok throughout our trip. We went from to top to bottom of both islands and just had the best time! Highly recommend !

I enjoyed a fantastic tour of NZ suported by Bularangi motorcycles. I picked up my ride, a Harley Davidson Street Glide from the very Knowledgeable Baz at Christ Church. Visited so many interesting and beautiful places. Like the Motorcycle Mecca in Invercargil, Milford sound, beautiful Hanmar springs, lake Wakiti and and many many more sights. The roads in NZ are quiet with very little traffic. The many hotels an motels are easily found with a booking app and theyare are all of very high standard with helpful and friendly staff. Riding the mountain passes can be challenging for sure but that just adds to the fun😊 NZ really is a fantastic country. Take your time' dont plan on long daily rides be prepared to stop for half an hour or an hour to enjoy the wee suprise beauty spots like Mirror lakes on NH 94 TeAnau to Milford sound road or Thunder falls out of Wanaka on SH 6 just take your time and enjoy NewZealand. Everyone should try to vist NZ at least once. Ali at Bularangi motorcycles was a fantastic support, particularly for a solo traveller, in daily touch by WhatsApp, giving advice on the best senic routes and places to stop and routes to keep ahead of the weather. It was reassuring to know she was always just a WhatsApp message away with her local knowledge in case of any serious issues.
Don't be put off by rumours that New Zealand is expensive, a standard motel room for 1 is around 120 NZ a night that equals around £60 or €70. An excellent steak dinner in a restaurant will set you back 40 to 50 NZ about £25. Getting there from London costs around £1500 return, £750 each way.
Go in April and you will miss the summer rush and enjoy a relaxing tour. If you love motorcycles and enjoy fantastic hospitality in a magnificent setting I cannot recommend a motorcycle tour of New Zealand, especialy the south island, supported by Bularangi motorcycles too highly.

This is a great company. We were to take this trip just as Covid hit and New Zealand locked down. They held our credit for 2.5 years until we could make the trip. Motorcycle was in perfect shape. They gave us a navigation system which had everything programmed. Motels we’re all excellent. Food mostly in walking distance. One place stayed open so we could eat. I would highly recommend using this company if you are planning a motorcycle trip in NZ.

The Harley Tour of the South Island was the best, planning, organisation, accommodation and routes, all stress and worries were removed for our trip of a lifetime. We visited Mount Cook, Queenstown, Franz Josef and Punakaiki amongst others. Even visiting Waihi Beach in the North on recommendation from Ali. Baz and Ali are great, easy going, down to earth and know their stuff. Best bike trips in NZ. Love Bularangi.

Bularangi arranged a 14 day both Islands tour. We had three couples and had a fantastic time. Both the routes they created for us and the accommodations were excellent. We had the ride planned prior to COVID and they worked with us through out the shutdowns which delayed our trip by three years. I thought New Zealand would be a one time trip for us. But, know we may well be going back. Thank you Ali and Baz.

Hired Ultra Limited for 3 weeks from Christchurch to Auckland with our own self guided tour. Easy pick up and drop off. Highly recommend Bularangi Motors, Ali and Baz gave awesome service and looked after us, dealing with any issues we had very quickly. Thanks also to Kerry for friendly chat when dropping off bike.

Hey guys! My wife Carmen and I just returned from 14 fantastic days on the South Island of New Zealand. Our second time exploring this paradise. Not only were we in a slice of heaven, but we did it on a Harley from Bularangi. AGAIN!
It's always comforting to have a person, or people, to lean on and guide you through a grand adventure. We count on Ali and Baz.
After a simple conversation and a few emails for clarification, Ali had us lined up with a bunch of great hotels and a GPS full of scenic roads and a few little suggestions that enhanced the trip I envisioned.
Baz was spot on with the bike. Having it ready and waiting for Carmen and me. Knowing that there is an experienced person prepping your ride, AND being there should there be an issue puts your mind at ease.
As for the trip......it was perfect! We saw new sights in every stop we made. They brought up the memories of our first time. Invercargill, Franz Josef Glacier (with a cool helitour and landing on Fox Glacier). Kaikoura featuring a showoff seal. Topped off by a trip to Abel Tasman National Park.
I always explain to my friends that going to New Zealand, for me, is the culmination of my riding fantasies. Really good roads, a huge amount of scenery which defies the mind. Twisties and mountain terrains. Jungle and forest. Great food. Really nice and welcoming people.
When you go away you want to be away. New Zealand totally fits the bill. And thank you Ali and Baz for helping us get there.
