Don't trip over them
Aug 2019
3 little corgis on high street. Should they be on a lead? Where is the dog catcher?
Cute little bronze statues representing celebrating the queens jubilee. Worth a look and a photo and then move on. Oh, don't feed the dogs.

Look Down! Watch your ankles!

Corgi warning! I love these 3 little dogs, cast in bronze and eternally wandering in High St, presumably waiting for their parents who are probably in C4 having coffee and reading bad Trip Advisor reviews! They are so cute and actually, as pieces of sculpture, beautifully worked.

They won't bite you but if you are bustling along, not watching your step you could easily trip over them as they are rather low flying.

They're a charming piece of the collection of rather good and varied street art Christchurch boasts these day.

Cute public artwork on High Street
Sep 2018 • Couples
Corgis On High is a cute group of three bronze corgis which were installed on High Street in Christchurch in 2003 to celebrate the 50th Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. These are the work of artist David Marshall.

What you will see are three life-sized corgis that appear to be walking down High Street. There is a small plaque near the small dogs with information details. These are fun little sculptures to find if you plan to spend time in this area of Christchurch. Have a quick look and snap a pic or two before moving on.
