My partner and I had a fantastic time on our crater rim walk this morning. Such breathtaking views made better by our amazing guide Nicole. She was very accommodating and had lots of fun facts to share about Christchurch and NZ culture. Definitely would recommend taking the time for this walk!

My husband and I took a guided walk with Nicole at the Crater Rim. It was such a great start to the day, which began by Nicole picking us up at our accommodation at 8am and gave us some commentary on the drive to our destination of the history of Christchurch. This 2.5 hour walking tour was an excellent way to get some great information about the area, meet a lovely person and enjoy a great walk with beautiful scenery. With only 3 days in Christchurch it was time well spent.

We had a stunning walk in Akaroa with a few families. Both the adults and children enjoyed the beautiful scenery and it was a perfect way to encourage the kids to take an outdoor challenge.
This is our second walk with Crater Rim Walks and they are always well organised with friendly service.

My wife and I did a half day hike with Nicole and had the absolute best time. We were so well looked after and Nicole was full of information and interesting facts. We even got spoilt with morning tea and a coffee from a local cafe. Highly recommend.

Nicole is an excellent guide. While anyone can do the walks (with sufficient research and fitness), it is always a good to have a knowledgeable guide leading you around explaining the history and sights that you are seeing, and Nicole is one such guide.
The morning pick-me-up coffee before starting the walk proper was great, as was the packed lunch which we enjoyed to the view of the waves dashing upon the rocks at Boulder Bay.
The walk from Taylors Mistake to Godley Head offered spectacular views, and while it was not the easiest of walks, it was enough to work up a good sweat while not detracting from the vistas.

What an amazing way to tour the coastline! Nicole is an excellent guide. She picked everyone up at our hotels and then eased us into the tour with some great information on the drive. The hike is enjoyable with beautiful scenery and great commentary by Nicole. She picks the perfect spot by the water to enjoy lunch, which is delicious. Highly recommended!

This was such an enjoyable experience. Nicole providing really interesting information along the way! The views on the walk were spectacular. The food supplied by Nicole was lovely and fresh in sustainable packaging.

The most spectacular and enjoyable Walk/Hike round the beautiful Crater rim.
Hosted by Nicole who was incredibly professional, kind and considerate as well as being a font of knowledge about local history, the Geographic rock formations and local wild life.
Starting with a lovely coffee and brief description of the walk , we did a long hike in very manageable stretches at our own pace with a brief snack break and lovely picnic lunch , prepared and supplied by the company. The provision of walking poles and complimentary Drinks flask were most welcome and appreciated.
Couldn’t praise highly enough.

Great day from pick up to drop off
Away from the crowds a very pleasant walk amongst some spectacular scenery.
Niclole was great and provided in depth comments together with a casual and comforable style, starting with a lovely coffee.
