Nicole was the perfect guide. My friend, Ingrid and I enjoy exploring all parts of the world and welcome historic context. Nicole has lots of information and is passionate about her hometown of Christchurch.

My husband and I really enjoyed this trip. Nicole thought of every single detail from a comfortable coffee stop to a scenic lunch spot. She knows every curve of the trail and provides a challenging route. I highly recommend this trip.

We booked the Guided Walking and Picnic shore excursion from Port Lyttelton. As our cruise arriving an hour later than the normal 9am tour start tinme, Nicole adjusted the tour's start time to accommodate us.
The small group, just 5 people, including us, meant Nicole to provide a personalized experience. She shared a wealth of information throughout the walk, including the history of key points and Christchurch in general.
Nicole thoughtfully prepared individual picnic lunches in charming boxes, featuring delicious food, as well as a water bottle and morning tea snacks. We even got to keep the water bottles after the walk.
We were fortunate to enjoy perfect weather, and Godfrey's Head was truly spectacular along the entire walk. At the end, we had a choice of being dropped off right at Lyttelton Port or in Christchurch.
Highly recommend this tour for others looking to explore the area, and especially if they are visiting on a cruise and want a meaningful, stress-free shore excursion.

Had the most amazing experience with Dee! I was meant to go with my partner who was sick so I ended up going solo and was very nervous, Dee made me feel SO comfortable and she was so kind! The walk itself was absolutely incredible, the views were stunning, Dee was so knowledgeable about weather and the area! I did not expect to enjoy this as much as i did and i will not stop raving about this!!!!! A must do if you are visiting Christchurch!!!!!!

Our recent private guided crater rim walk was nothing short of phenomenal! The scenery was simply stunning. The majestic beauty of the crater, with its awe-inspiring natural formations, was a sight to behold. Nicole was not just knowledgeable, but a true artist in how to design a walking route. She knew exactly where to lead us for the best views, the most intriguing features, and the perfect vantage points for photos. But what truly set her trip apart was the combination of these elements with her warmth and dedication. One of the highlights of our trip was the seafront picnic. Imagine the cool sea breeze, the soothing sound of the waves, and the fantastic view of the endless water as we enjoyed a delicious meal.

Heidi made us feel special and gave us personal attention, lots of interesting facts about the area and its history, and also showed us around the area on the way back to our hotel. She was friendly, attentive, careful and thoughtful! Lunch was unique and the entire day will be memorable!

I had a great experience walking with Nicole. She's a welcoming and knowledgeable person and yet down to earth—someone who makes sure you will have a pleasant time. The lunchbox she prepared for me was just superb, both nutritious and tasty. Highly recommend.
