Mike was really easy to correspond with and was super efficient on the day. Being early to both venues for the wedding party pick up. Clean and tidy vehicles and professional service. Thank you.

It's hard to know where to start after an experience that exceeds your expectations in every way. From start to finish, our experience with Mike was seamless. The booking process was well explained and easy. Mike's communication throughout was prompt and professional. A phone call the day before to confirm our trip is part of the service Mike offers.
On the day of our trip, Mike was suited up and waiting in our hotel lobby with a big smile and friendly greeting. The beautifully maintained S Class Mercedes, complete with water, tissues, mints etc was ready to go. The car was immaculate and comfortable.
Our trip to Akaroa included stops along the way for great photo opportunities, as well as the chance to check out a gallery and little shops. Mike was more than happy to go with the flow, and at no time did we feel rushed or feel that we were needing to stick to a strict itinerary.
The Akaroa Dolphin cruise was included in our tour cost, and it did not disappoint. Just like at the hotel lobby, upon completion of the cruise, Mike was waiting for us on the pier.
One thing that really stood out to us was Mike's extensive knowledge of the area. From Christchurch to Akaroa and back, Mike was able to share so much knowledge and fun facts about the areas we were travelling to.
Mike is such an asset to the tourism industry and we had a lot of fun and laughs on the day. We would absolutely recommend Mike and Chauffeur NZ to anyone looking for a tour that they won't forget.

I'm very pleased I was able to provide the chauffeured service you required for your special weekend holiday from Australia.
One thing that makes our service great is the people we meet and being able to provide some real kiwi hospitality.
From the time we greeted you both at the Heritage hotel you new we were all going to have a great day.
A big thanks again to the team at Bully Hays for lunch and the Akaroa Dolphin team in Akaroa for looking after our guests.
It was also great to here that after I dropped you of you enjoyed the forward booking we made for you at Twenty Seven Steps restaurant.

I contacted Mike a number of months ago to advise I was travelling from Scotland and planning a surprise wedding for my fiance. He was happy to be 'in on the act' and provide transport for the day (a very comfortable Mercedes minivan)
From my first contact to dropping us all off after the event Mike was brilliant. Engaging and funny, great service with a smile! He even managed to hide our 2 witnesses in the back seat of the car when he picked us up to maintain the element of surprise!
We had a great day Mike, one to truly remember and it got off to a brilliant start and went so smoothly, thanks in no small part to you.
See you for our anniversary!

Wow what an absolute pleasure it was to be a small part of your special day traveling from the other side of the world to our special place in the world. The location "The sign of the bell bird" was spectacular as was the great day Christchurch turned on for you.

Mike arranged wonderful private tour for us to Akaroa. Beautiful views from hill top , charming fruit farm on the way, good sea food restaurant, dolphin cruise,,, He is very reliable, friendly and enthusiastic in meeting our expectations, much more than expected. Also he is flexible and stopped by a winery as we asked..We are not good at English, but we enjoyed much and felt very comfortable with his guide and drive.

From greeting us on Airport arrival to the departure, Mike was more than on time, energetic,enthusiastic about the town and the country. He was flexible to our changing ideas and helped also with luggage and eating reservations. Totally positive experience

As a regular chauffer user, I can easily say that Mike was amazing and exceeded all expectations.
I had booked Mike to pickup my mother from the airport and take her to her hotel - she loved his friendly personality, and was so excited to get a mini sightseeing tour and commentary included.
Mike then picked me up from the airport the following day - my plane had been delayed by 3 1/2 hours, yet was still there to meet me (without any ill feelings!). Mike took us all back to the airport at the end of our holiday and walked us (and our bags) into the terminal. My mother farewelled him with a hug, just like she was saying good-bye to a family member.
Thank you Mike - your friendly and professional service topped off our holiday!

We are fortunate to engage Mike Halliday for our recent trip to New Zealand. Mike’s charges were reasonable and he was detailed in the emails prior to our arrival at Christchurch. He brought us around the city and fetched us back safely from Arthur’s Pass when we took the Tranzalpine train. We then headed to Mount Cook and lake Pukaki and stayed overnight in a villa there. My young adult son and daughter were comfortable with his warmth and personality and the whole family of four even stayed overnight at Pukaki with him for the stargazing! We left for Glenorchy the next morning and enroute we enjoyed the various stops like Lake Pearson that he brought us to. Mike had to endure a long day driving us around that day but he does not complain and we appreciate that.
If you need someone reliable (Mike is never late) and agreeable you should engage Mike! He will make your trip a pleasant and enjoyable one!

It is I who wish to say a big thanks for the opportunity to show you our beautiful South Island and being able to travel with such a lovely family. The stay at "Pukaki Lakeside Getaway" was a magnificent location waking up to the incredible views of Lake Pukaki and Aoraki Mount Cook were unforgettable.
Your journey on the TranzAlpine train to Arthur's pass and with me picking you up from the station and returning to Christchurch by Mercedes Benz minivan gives you the opportunity to stop at our amazing lakes on the way and of course "Castle hill" and the Mountain scenery.

Mike is a very informative tour guide. We booked in advance for an all day tour of Christchurch. He picked us up at the cruise terminal. We chose a small group for just our family but he can accommodate larger groups if necessary. We are getting back on board our ship knowing that we saw each and every detail of Christchurch.Thank you Mike for an unforgettable day!!

Yes our tour with your family from Akaroa village to Christchurch city was a great day and I feel with the 8 hours we had we maximised it completely even down to to great seafood lunch at Beach cafe. Its always good to have a family from so far away (the USA) come all this way to enjoy our beautiful country.
I wish you the best for your self drive on the left hand side (Remember) from Wellington to Auckland and Allison's big wedding day on the 28th March 2020.

I can highly recommend Mike and his team. Well presented excellent vehicles and willing to go that extra mile!

After a succession of cancelled trips and excursions we asked Dr. Google to find us an alternative. Did he do well!
We don't normally travel in a private up-market Mercedes, at least not since doing stretched-limo tours in Napa, but Mike was instantly engaging and rapport was established. The weather looked bad for our day trip to Akaroa, but by mid-morning the sun was out, we had sampled cheeses at Barry's Bay (and noted that they had Kingsmeade Wairarapa Jack on sale!). Lovely detour to a little shoreside settlement (were those little fish whitebait?) and we were set for wonderful soup in Akaroa. Then a dolphin watching cruise (lots but also a great selection of birds including Arctic Skuas/jaegers, shearwaters, spotted and other shags and 1 penguin).
Then back home through some chunky weather!
This was bespoke, personalised and responsive touring at its very best!
