A delightful find. This quarry converted to a park has historical signage, easy walk tracks, and from the top the views of the Southern Alps are spectacular. Highly recommended. Just watch out for the doggie poo. Owners need to clean up after their mutts.
We went there with my grandsons school. They did many activities and games. It a brisk climb up the hill of the quarry but once on top the views are break taking.
