You can choose from our Half day, Full day or Private tours to the picturesque cellar doors of our internationally famous wineries and revel in the stunning aromas and textures of their multi-award winning wines. Our wine tours are fun, informative and flexible – choose the homes of your favourite wine labels or let us show you a mixture of the internationally recognised and the boutique family-run wineries. On a private tour, you can meet the stellar wine makers and have a face to face tutorial on the secrets of viticulture and find out for yourself, the dedication and passion that goes into every bottle. You can even blend your personal vintage from the barrels on display. Jade Tours is a Destination Management company and we pride ourselves in providing an exemplary service to our guests. We will fill your holiday in Marlborough with magical memories. Our links to adventure and leisure activities and scenic bus tours around Marlborough, ensure days filled with fun. If preferred, we can package a full 5 star Marlborough experience from luxury lodges, helicopter transfers and gourmet meals and include your preferences from the Sounds in the north to the Whales in Kaikoura and all the adventure activities in between. We have visits to local breweries and gourmet food producers and local ecological attractions. Our new 12 seater luxury bus will ferry you in supreme comfort from your arrival to departure. I reached out to Jade Tours regarding a private winery tour for a large group and heard back from Mike in no time! Even via email, you could tell that Mike had some amazing insight into the Marlborough Region and was going to be an amazing tour guide. When we docked in Picton, Mike was at the shuttle stop waiting for us to board the bus. He had organised three private tastings for our group of 24 as well as a sensational lunch. Three weeks have now passed since the wine tour and people who attended are still talking about what a wonderful day it was! The next time I find myself in the region, I won't think twice when booking another tour with Jade Tours. Mike, thank you and your team for such a memorable day! We had an absolute blast.

Great tour, de had a lot of fun. Mike was very polite and had a great knowledge in wines. I would recommend anyone to take this tour, all the way from beginners to more experienced wine tasters.
We needed a transfer from Picton and back which could be arranged for an additional fee, and it was really convenient.

There was a group of 12 traveling together for 2 weeks in New Zealand. We wanted to do a wine tour in Blenheim. I researched and read reviews from others that had used Jade Tours. We were not disappointed to have Mike as our tour guide. He was very accommodating to change our pick up time at the hotel and do the extra little things to make the wine tour extra special. We were very pleased with the 13 passenger van that all of us were able to go together. The 5 wine stops and lunch at Wither Hills were outstanding. Bonus stop was the Chocolate Factory. If ever in Blenheim/Picton area and want to book a wine tour, Mike from Jade Tours is who you want.

Wonderful full day private wine tour. Mike tailored the tour to our wine preferences and included a lovely lunch stop and a beer tap room stop for the boys.
It was great to see the cellar doors buzzing with people and Mikes awesome knowledge of the area and wineries provided some great anecdotes and insights, and filled in the gaps if the staff were spread a bit thin amongst guests. These really added to the day.
Would definitely recommend Jade and look forward to booking again with them in the future.

We did the tour today and had a fantastic time. Mike was so knowledgeable about the wineries and the area. Despite some of the post covid challenges he was able to accomodate our needs. We thought it was great value for money and highly recommend the tour.

Mike picked us up right on time, asked what we would like to taste or see, red, white or both, and then planned our day around this. Can recommend Mike and Jade Tours for his knowledge on wine and the area. A very friendly and convivial host with a comfortable, clean and tidy van.

Thank you for joining me for the day and thanks for the review. I always try to be as flexible as possible and with the quieter tours now, we can basically do whatever you want to do. But its nice to be open and fully functional and out enjoying the budding vineyards.

This was an excellent wine tour. Mike was extremely knowledgeable about the wineries and lots else besides. We really enjoyed the fact that it was a small group and an excellent range of wineries was visited, Lunch was so lovely that we went back again the next day - Allan Scott Cellar Door.We were picked up and returned to our accommodation which was a real bonus. I would highly recommend Jade Tours and Mikes expertise in all things wine.

We had a fantastic day doing a private tour with Mike. He was so knowledgeable and kept the day interesting. We loved how Mike was able to provide further information between tastings. We wanted to try and experience new wines from our norm and that’s exactly what we got. 10/10. Thanks for a great day!!

Mike did an awesome job of guiding us through Marlborough wine tastings in Blenheim. He was there with us in tasting rooms to add extra background and depth to the experience. The lunch finalè at Alan Scott winery was superb and made it memorable.
