Situated next to the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre on the outskirts of Blenheim and showcasing around 60 vehicles from the 1950's to the 1990's, the collection offers a special insight into both Marlborough and New Zealand motoring history from that charismatic period where space, grace, chrome bumpers, large grilles and individual design were allowed to run wild. The total collection is about 115 cars, with half on display at any one time.

We hired our wedding cars with Omaka Classic Cars - stunning cars, lovely drivers well dressed - they gave us a real sense of occasion and lovely photo props as well. Highly recommended.

Omaka classic cars has about 80 odd cars on show ranging from Pre war to 10 years old but mostly 70's era. Cars aren't immaculate and have their original patina which is good to see. Loved the fact you can open hoods and doors to look around. What let it down was there are few rare cars and far more... More

We had an hour to fill in, so popped into the car museum. We both enjoyed it. Trip down memory lane. Would go again.

Next to the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre is this colleciton of cars and a few motorbikes. It is an interesting collection with some older everyday use cars and a number of original condition and restored classics. Not a big collection compared to some, but cheap entry and interesting for a short visit.

Found this museum by accident. Just loved it. Might be our age...we can remember, vaguely, the sixties...but the collection of cars touched a lot of nostalgic buttons. Many every-day vehicles in drivable and exceptionally well maintained condition. Ten dollars each to get in. Would have been cheap at twice the price.

Unbelievable collection of Classics cars. Very well restored and maintained. Had a Maybach which was in many condition and exciting to see after hearing about it mainly in novels. Fun experience.
