Overview
More
Situated next to the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre on the outskirts of Blenheim and showcasing around 60 vehicles from the 1950's to the 1990's, the collection offers a special insight into both Marlborough and New Zealand motoring history from that charismatic period where space, grace, chrome bumpers, large grilles and individual design were allowed to run wild. The total collection is about 115 cars, with half on display at any one time.

It just made sense to visit this museum as it is right next to the WWI and WW2 museums. Although we are not huge car enthusiasts we really enjoyed this place. It bought back lots of memories. Worth seeing.

NZ and Australian cars, a few Jaguar and some other European marques. Well spaced and well curated. Not as many interesting ones as we would have liked.

A very pleasant wander down post-1945 memory lane, with a full range of cars from Jaguar and Rolls-Royce to humble Anglias and Hillmans and pretty much everything else in between. And a nice relaxing hour at least, from the intensity of the Omaka WW1 and...More

This place is well worth a visit. Such an amazing collection of cars. My husband, son and father-in-law thoroughly enjoyed it. Each generation having their own favourite car in the collection. So much to see and all a private collection!

I have always liked Jaguar cars, Bentleys and all types of Classic cars. The cars that we observed as children as we walked to school in the fifties and sixties. Who owned these cars, gosh the people must be wealthy. And here they all were....More
