Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visiting here was a recommendation of our B&B hostess. We've driven past here countless times in the past but never stopped, for one reason or another, so to actually make the time and venture within was new to us.
What a quaint place. It was getting late-ish so we didn't get to experience its full potential, but what we did see made us put it on our list for another time. There was the Quilter's Room, the Gin room, Whitehaven wines, the cafe (separate review) all combining to emanate a certain village feel, which I guess is its intention.
Next time, we'll arrive earlier so we can enjoy more of what it has to offer.

What’s not to love? Eat, drink, shop! Great little crafters shop with some cross stitch kits to keep me occupied as we journey south, gin tasting to keep hubby happy,
wine tasting for me. Gorgeous seating, pretty views.

Very disappointed with our visit today. A Notice said 30 minute wait. We were a group of 4. After 35 minutes, 2 meals arrived. 20 minutes later, another meal arrived and after another 10 minutes, the 4th meal arrived.
A real disappointment, and the food was fairly average.

We stopped here for breakfast in the morning before picking up our e-bikes and then finished our day shopping for gourmet local produce and gin tasting. Something for everyone here. Friendly service.

A very interesting place! Great food in a beautiful setting. There are also a lot of small 'boutique' outlets on the site selling lots of 'different' items and souveniers.

Great selection of local gins and rums. Tasting available. Friendly staff and very helpful. Then a great lunch on site in the garden afterwards.

A large variety of delicious food, great coffee. My dear friend and I enjoyed a lengthy catchup over a few gins and bespoke platter from the deli. Highly recommend this place!

Highly overrated. It Could be such an amazing spot but the food really lets the place down. I hope they turn things around because I can’t see it lasting unless something changes very soon

What a great location to spread several hours of your day. Several different seating options and areas. Lunch was exceptional with generous servings. Had the breakfast burger which was one of the best decisions of the year and the curly fries to share and could not even finish!! Also tried the gin flight from The Gin Room. Delicious and fun.

This is just as the title describes, a small village of cottage shops. This lovely setting has a pond, cafe, quilting shop, furniture up cycling shop, gin distillery, wooden shop and small store. A nice setting for a wee wonder and coffee by the pond.
