Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Felt very ripped off at the ice cream shop. A model on bench showed an edible cup sundae for $8. Covered in sauce and nuts. Reality was a rock hard inedible cup with a blob of sauce on top. A regular ice cream cone (pictured, and No, it isn’t half eaten) was so small I asked if it was a kiddy cone in error. The young girl said No that’s the size. Wouldn’t ever buy from here again

Very disappointed with our visit today. A Notice said 30 minute wait. We were a group of 4. After 35 minutes, 2 meals arrived. 20 minutes later, another meal arrived and after another 10 minutes, the 4th meal arrived.
A real disappointment, and the food was fairly average.

Stopped here while touring Marlborough wineries. The noble with really good! Cute little complex that it is included in (vines village). We also went to the Gin bar next door. I hear the cafe is also nice. The courtyard is a nice place to sit and enjoy whatever wine/beer/gin and food you buy. They have some games in the courtyard as well.

What a great location to spread several hours of your day. Several different seating options and areas. Lunch was exceptional with generous servings. Had the breakfast burger which was one of the best decisions of the year and the curly fries to share and could not even finish!! Also tried the gin flight from The Gin Room. Delicious and fun.

Stopped in for a short while, to experience some of the craft and food of the region. We didn't really find what we were after in the foodie store, but fell in love with the quilt & craft store. The knitting/wool selection was what got me in, but my friends were going for the cross-stitch & craft things. After that, we went to a little shop that had some crafty, arty stuff. Spent a fair bit of money there too.

How can a cafe sell food and then expect you to eat it at dirty tables with bird poo on. The food was expensive and the service was amatuer. School kids with bad attitudes.
the wine we ordered was dreadful, thought it was oxidised so bought a bottle and this was still horrid. The grounds are shabby and the staff are dressed in whatever they could throw on that morning. Expensive and a waste of money

A nice cafe for Brunch or Lunch. A range of boutique craft shops. Eredus Wines Cellar Door.
Lovely grounds, plenty of room for the kids to play, well worth a visit on your way through Marlborough, or for a relaxed family outing.
This is our regular "go to" destination when friends and family come to visit.

perfectly situated on Rapaura Road and extremely well set up for kids. We will often stop here when traveling, have a bite at the coffee, nice little shops, excellent fabric shop.

This stop has a small number of shops and food options available including a patchwork shop and wine tasting options. There are toilets available too which makes it a great stop as you are travelling around the wine district. this is a fully accessible location with outside areas for the kids to burn some energy.

Gin Shack

You guys are absolutely awesome!
Arrived yesterday on our bikes doing a day around the vineyards
Couldn’t help but swing by to see what you were about
You absolutely made out our day…cool vibes, friendly faces, great outsides areas to chill and relax

Firstly the service was top notch, friendly, efficient and super knowledgeable

Gin paddle was super delicious with great tasting notes to accompany an expert delivery of the gin story with each one
and look forward to living in the gin moment when we get home to enjoy our purchase

The food was Devine.. tasty, delicious and delivered with a smile

Loved our visit so much, will be spreading the word and look forward to a longer lingering visit next time round :)
