We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Recommended for scenic flights near Wellington. The club sells vouchers for trial flights. Great views over the Wairarapa and the Tararuas

Since moving from Paraparaumu to Papawai in 2016 WGC is continuing to improve its facilities. Launching in strong NW wind is now much improved and the training centre build is underway.

A good place to start. This season has been affected by strong crosswinds but work is underway to get another runway operational that will solve this. once airborne you'll have great views across the Waiarapa to the Haurangis, Rimutakas, Tararuas and more

The gliding club has closed operations at Paraparaumu and moved over the ranges to the Wairarapa Valley near Grey Town.

On a recent trip around New Zealand, I was treated to a soaring lesson. It was amazing. The people who run the Wellington Gliding Club were very friendly, knowledgeable and answered any hesitation with understanding and facts. The building is a bit rundown but the planes were in top shape and the instructors, volunteers from other countries, were very careful and skilled.

Best place to fly on north island. Beautiful views of the Kapiti coast, the island, and the Tararuas. They have very modern two seater gliders and friendly instructors. In summer they operate 7 days a week and you can book your flight in advance. They also have a simulator so they can show you the basics and the instructor even lets you take the controls if you want.

Beautiful views of the coast, Kapiti Island and the mountains to the East. If you want to see the incredible views and learn to fly, gliding is a must! The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel very welcome.
