Agree with most other reviews, this is a small market of a handful of food stalls. Much better off grabbing women local gourmet produce from a local store like new world or similar. Not particularly appetizing fried foods from around the world. Small cramped spaces...More

As some reviewers have stated, the food wasn't particularly inventive nor was it that tasty. We bought a lamb curry wrap which didn't taste of very much - which is disappointing for an Indian stall. The Cambodian stall sold Satay, beef and pork baguettes which...More

As it was the middle of winter and so of course quite chilly outside, we didn't stop to leisurely wander through here. We were walking back to our hotel after dinner at 1 of the many restaurants on the street. There were enough vendors to...More

Held on two nights at separate locations, the Wellington Night Market is more food orientated than gifts. Friday night the market is held in the Left Bank - a side alley off the pedestrian section of Cuba St through to Victoria St, just up from...More

This Friday night market has a lot of alternatives to eat at a very convenient and affordable price. It mainly has Asian food, but you could find cuisine from other places as well.

I wandered upon this market while walking up Cuba street on a Friday night. I understand the market is held at different places on Friday and Saturday nights. It has a good selection of food options (around 15 or so plus the permanent restaurants that...More

Fiona and I came upon the market by chance whilst walking along Cuba street. We had a quick walk through and it's worth a return visit to eat, listen to the music and explore the bookshop. Very entertaining.

It was relatively quiet on a Friday night, and understandably so. Small market with a limited and expensive selection of street food. There were also a few stalls selling some generic notebooks/phone cases but that's about it. I wouldn't recommend a visit.

I love a good market, and even better a night market, but I was underwhelmed by Wellington's Friday & Saturday night markets. Most of the food stalls seemed overpriced and not very inventive. Good for a 5 minute walk through, but that's about it.

The market itself is very small for a good market, the food quality we had was good and very reasonable price also. There is a variety so you have some choice, was nice but doesn’t take long to pop in and out.
