Craft Beer College run regular "Audience with..." evenings with craft beer brewers and I was lucky enough to get the last tickets for an evening where Kelly Ryan (of Fork and Brewer fame, most recently) was guest speaker. After our welcome drink we were introduced to six further brews from Kelly each with an intersting back story and pleasant food accompaniment. It was a fantastic evening, both informative and highly entertaining, I would reccommend anyone with an interest in craft beer (drinking and brewing) to give it a go!

Steph created a fantastic custom family friendly craft beer tour for us. She was super knowledgeable about beer (history and different types of beer) and Wellington pubs and bars. The whole family enjoyed doing something completely different on a Saturday afternoon! If you’re looking for a personalised beer tasting experience in Wellie I’d highly recommend Steph and Craft Beer College.

My husband and I visited Wellington for a short holiday over New Year's. Almost all bars and restaurants were closed, but Stephanie met us downtown and hosted a fantastic craft beer tasting on New Year's Day. We learned so much and had tons of fun! Stephanie was so knowledgeable and made the experience really special for both me (a beer newbie) and my husband (a beer lover.)
We have already recommended the Craft Beer College to our friends who are visiting NZ soon, and we will definitely do this again the next time we visit!

Such a fun time learning about, and tasting, great beers. Steph and the team are so so knowledgeable and having brewers there is an excellent bonus. I'm hardly a beer novice, and I learned heaps. And got to taste beers I wouldn't normally try and I have new favourites. A bloody excellent way to spend an afternoon.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Steph personally for the outstanding customer service provided to us! She went above and beyond to provide us support when she didn’t have to at all. I highly highly recommend to anyone looking for a great gift idea or a great time !

I'm a Wellington local and have been on multiple tours with CBC. The staff are all great, and are generally people with direct involvement in the craft beer industry in Wellington (some are former commercial brewers, some have worked at beer bars or distributors, and others have volunteered for festivals and consumer groups like SOBA).
My tours have all been heaps of fun and really educational, with something for both beer nerds like me and more novice guests who have come along with me.

We did the beer and cheese tasting with Steph. Honestly I learnt so much about beer. The pairing were delicious and such a great experience. Highly recommend this. Steph is a fountain of knowledge and you’ll have a fantastic tasting and learning experience. Exclusive beers and delicious special cheeses.

Surprised my boyfriend with this for his birthday and honestly didn't know what to expect- but Phil was absolutely awesome at catering to both of us (him loving beer, and me knowing zero about it). We did a weird and wonderful tasting and I never thought I would say this but I found several beers I really enjoyed! Highly highly recommend for everyone, even if you don't typically like beer.

Had a wonderful evening sampling some interesting beers. The bars we visited were great and Steph was able to give us the history of the bar, the beers and food. We found the whole evening fun and everything was taken care of by Steph which allowed us to enjoy the atmosphere and the drinks.
