Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A living church. When I visited there, it was filled with a chorus and a magnificent atmosphere. It became open a few years ago. Highly recommended.

We only could view the church from the road. However, it was stunning. Next visit we hope to look inside.

A very beautiful church. Recently renovated and bright inside. I was there for the carol service. The organ and the choirs were fabulous.

This church makes you feel humble, and if there is a God, he is keeping an eye on this place. When we arrived, there were only two others there, so we had time to sit and contemplate and reflect. You can light a candle ($1) for someone if you so wish. There is no parking available, so go there on foot and see one of the special churches. The previous priest raised $10 million to get this earthquake proofed. The power of prayer!

This place is an oasis in the middle of a very busy city. It is gorgeous just like a fairy tale church. We happened to be there just as a wedding started...wow wow. I t was just such a treat. Please spend some time in this place, maybe even some quiet medative moments in this amazing space.

We went to Mass here and confession. It was truly delightful. The stained glass windows were gorgeous. They don’t make it like that anymore. Must see for Catholics.

I accidentally came across this church and the ajar door beckoned me in. What a beautiful church and unfortunately I did not get the chance to spend more time looking around. Cultural box ticked and I wish I had stayed a little longer.
Certainly a beautiful church with a lot of history behind it and survived many earthquakes in the region.

This lovely old Catholic Cathedral is a visual feast with its stunning stain glass windows which are as good as any that can be found globally. Service times are clearly marked on the board outside so if you're simply going for a look or wish to find a clam, peaceful place, in the middle of the city to sit for a little bit you can confidently enter knowing you are not disturbing others.
