I think this IS THE place to go in Wellington, even when it is raining you can sit in the Boat Cafe observe the ocean and eat great food.

Great place to stroll to from CBD. Keep warm. Lots of interesting people and watching the many different faces of the sea.

We go to here in summer for swimming and evening walks and in winter with coats etc for walks. There is a great playground for kids or seats to sit and watch the world go by.
