This is more of a thoroughfare from the waterfront walk to Cuba street. The festival hall and the old town hall buildings give it character. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

When we were there, it was a mix of construction going on and a few jugglers earning their penny. You just pass Civic square - that's it.

Nothing much to see other than the Town Hall and Wellington Library - except it provides access to the bridge to the sea and to the Underground Markets

A huge area of astroturf has been added marked out as a soccer court which is new since I last went here. Nice to sit on as well instead of the paving. A good place to meet people and of course the art gallery is...More

walking around wellington,is a great day out,so to enter this square,and chill out ,admiring the buildings and the people walking or,jogging and ,running or ,playing games etc,is wonderful.also it not far to the sea,or the hub of the city from here.

It's highly likely you'll walk through here and not necessarily realize it. It's in a great location and easy to pass though.
