The Holocaust Centre of New Zealand, the country's national Holocaust education and remembrance centre, provides a moving experience which tells the stories of the survivors and victims of Nazi persecution who came to New Zealand. A collection of artefacts from Wellington Jewish survivors of the Holocaust have been gathered, along with photographs, some primary source documents and other items of interest. There is also a sizeable library of books available for viewing, and films of survivors' stories. We were there for one of the many excellent speakers they have.
