This tour was superb, and at $20, a total bargain! Robin was very helpful, and had a wealth of knowledge to hand. I could happily have continued the tour another hour to gain more information. I went back to several places pointed out en route...More
I loved every minute of the 2,5 hour tour. Gavin, my guide, adapted the information to my interests, has very good storytelling skills and one can feel he really loves the city.
Wellington is a small city and, for an European eye, it’s architecture might...More
An excellent walk that was well-paced and full of interesting facts. Keith was relaxed and knowledgable, and I would recommend the walk as a great way to get your bearings in an interesting city. Excellent mix of history and contemporary information, which matches the many...More

Our guided city walk does not include a ride on the "Cable car". The walk passes the entrance on Lambton Quay where we provide comment on the Cable Car, and suggestions for including a walk through the Botanical Gardens following the cable car ride. If time is limited the view from the terminus after the ride is well worth the trip, plus a visit to the museum covering the history of the cable car.
