I just wanted to say how easy it was to travel by bus & train and onto the ferry. The shuttle from Wellington railway station makes the whole process very easy. Much better than flying, and wonderful scenery!

Plenty of seating and pretty comfy apart from when the seas are rough! But the views are incredible so make sure you have your camera ready! Waking the decks to get fresh air is also great

It will depend on whether you booked a flexi booking. You will have to contact interislander. Check out the boats too as some are bigger than others and offer more facilities

We got a Spark chip at the Aukland airport for around 40$nz dollar and worked perfectly for 2 weeks in both islands!
