If you are Top 10 members you will get 10% discount! That's great news isn't it ?? And variety of food :) if there is not much deference between bluebridge and interislander you know which one to choose.

Took the ferry from Wellington to Picton and enjoyed a pleasant three hour trip with very smooth sailing. We were one of the first on board so had no problem finding a seat but could see that some of the later arrivals were struggling. There...More

Getting on the boat was an interesting experience, it was quite entertaining watching the poor man try and coordinate people to go in the correct places! We got there very early for the first sailing of the day, and it still took a long time...More

Very big ship. Lots of facilities. Our trip was fast, only 3,5 hours. We have a really nice day, where the ocean was flat, with just little waves.

We bought the lounge tickets which gave us an evening meal and excellent comfort. Well worth the bit extra for the quiet and food.

The ship itself was good. Plenty to see and do. However, the prices as expected are steep. By yourself it can get a little tedious and boring. I imagine with a family or some friends it would be a lot more enjoyable.

Touring around New Zealand, by car, in the middle of winter is something that we'd never done before. The Interislander was a part, a good part, of this tour through our stunningly beautiful country.

You can take your car on the ferry. There's no other way across to the South Island except by plane. I'm not sure about the weather in September but our trip in March was very scenic, especially coming into Marlborough Sound... More
