Absolutely brilliant. Lovely new facility at Brandon Street. Warm, comfortable, relaxing surrounds. Very talented and experienced therapist. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend

Serious safety incident

I booked a massage for my partners birthday September 2021 given Manee's great reviews online. Unfortunately my partners experience with the owner of this business was utterly unprofessional, abusive and disgusting. The owner made various inappropriate comments to my partner during the massage about his genitals in a sexual manner, touching him in an inappropriate way whilst doing so. This resulted in him feeling violated and deeply uncomfortable. Unfortunately these comments continued throughout the massage, and also extended to the owner pulling the elastic of his underwear up to glance down at him, all whilst making inappropriate comments. I don't have the words to describe how traumatic this was for him, especially given he is BIPOC and had not long moved to New Zealand. After the massage my partner voiced his concerns to the owner with myself present (given he felt uncomfortable during the massage to simply walk out - as is common in many instances of assault). The owner denied making the comments, despite the staff member who was also present during the conversation smiling knowingly and laughing, which was shocking to me. The owner asked us 'well what do you want then?', to which we acknowledged simply an acknowledgement and apology for the behaviour. The owner gave a half hearted apology, and after a very difficult conversation, we left. I will NEVER recommend Manees massage to anyone. She is inappropriate, utterly unprofessional, and to all POC - this massage place is UNSAFE. Avoid at ALL COSTS. Shame on you for this - shame on you

If he not comfortable with Massage way he ark for more massage, and u so rude walk im to shop not wearing mask not talk very nice , look like u want to have problems, from the last year is very long time u just give reviews, look like just want money back , so sad to have girl like u only belive guy call husband but only know him

About u and him relationship if not comfortable how can talk so many ting , and I’m not sorry I don’t do anything wrong ,im professional , a lot customer like to talk , massage not to hard cos keep asking all the time he say no go harder, let ur USA husben review so my customer can see who is him, cos i dont no him u keep ark me u know who is him , very smart u know we delete More then welcome customers like our massage , thank gods please not come back , here only welcome nice customer , #lookingforfreemassage #jealousgirl

Dada showed she has had expert training in Thailand and provides a great service often asking whether you want more or less pressure from her massage . When finished I felt very relaxed . When I'm back in Wellington Manees will definitely be on my list to visit

Often with a relaxing massage I wouldn’t want to chat but with this one I felt so comfortable I could relax deeper & deeper & chat all at the same time! During the conversation with Baba (unsure if I have the correct name spelling), she agreed with a comment I made about how good Thai Massage can be & to quote her reply “Yes & we not only massage to relax the body, mind & spirit, but also to heal”. She was amazing & such a petite, beautiful, strong, surviver! A pure pleasure to meet such an authentic genuine person, with great technique & incredible life skills! Thank you so much 🙏😊💖

Exceptional deep tissue massage, the ambience is clean and warm and inviting. Definitely somewhere to go if you’ve been spending to long on a screen or driving in that hunched over position.

This was one of the best massages I have ever had & I have had a lot. Being a dancer & dance teacher I have old injuries in my upper back & this was just amazing. I can’t believe I have walked past here so many times & not noticed it. I will be back & will be telling everyone I know! Thank you so much you made my day!
