Serious safety incident

I booked a massage for my partners birthday September 2021 given Manee's great reviews online. Unfortunately my partners experience with the owner of this business was utterly unprofessional, abusive and disgusting. The owner made various inappropriate comments to my partner during the massage about his genitals in a sexual manner, touching him in an inappropriate way whilst doing so. This resulted in him feeling violated and deeply uncomfortable. Unfortunately these comments continued throughout the massage, and also extended to the owner pulling the elastic of his underwear up to glance down at him, all whilst making inappropriate comments. I don't have the words to describe how traumatic this was for him, especially given he is BIPOC and had not long moved to New Zealand. After the massage my partner voiced his concerns to the owner with myself present (given he felt uncomfortable during the massage to simply walk out - as is common in many instances of assault). The owner denied making the comments, despite the staff member who was also present during the conversation smiling knowingly and laughing, which was shocking to me. The owner asked us 'well what do you want then?', to which we acknowledged simply an acknowledgement and apology for the behaviour. The owner gave a half hearted apology, and after a very difficult conversation, we left. I will NEVER recommend Manees massage to anyone. She is inappropriate, utterly unprofessional, and to all POC - this massage place is UNSAFE. Avoid at ALL COSTS. Shame on you for this - shame on you

not true. If he not comfortable with Massage way he ark for more massage, and u so rude walk im to shop not wearing mask not talk very nice , look like u want to have problems, from the last year is very long time u just give reviews, look like just want money back , so sad to have girl like u only belive guy call husband but only know him

Dada is able to do strong pressure and get tight muscles to release. She is also friendly and has a pleasant personality, adding to the good massage experience. And after the massage you can go for some good food across the street, a nice bonus of her location. Overall good experience on my one visit while here on holiday.

This is the first time I've experienced Manee's skills and she certainly stretched out tired limbs, massaged with an incredible technique and provided a really relaxing experience. I've tried lots of professional masseurs and Manee is up there with the best.

I booked a massage with Manee over the weekend. My neck had been really sore and I was pretty tired because I hadn’t slept particularly well for a couple of days.
Manee was really nice. We chatted briefly until I was feeling too relaxed to talk.
I have to say, her massage is AMAZING! She asked what strength I wanted and she used just the right amount of pressure to relax my muscles and my whole body.
This was money very well spent and I would highly recommend this place. I’ll be definitely going back again!
My neck pain has subsided enormously and I slept so well that evening!

I traveled to Wellington on business and found this Thai massage close to where I was staying.
Best decision to try, nothing short of excellence.
Amazing massage, authentic, clean and professional.
Staff are friendly and listen,massage was tailored to suit my needs.
Will definitely visit again when back in Wellington.

Fantastic deep tissue massage, really helped after a few hard days training. Knew the trigger points and knew how to iron out and knots present. Will definitely be back pre or post event.

When I was Wellington NZ on holidays after a day of hiking I tried Manee's Thai massage WOW !! thought I was in Thailand best massage ever !! My attendant put me through an amazing hour ! The next day my sore body felt like new with an extra spring in my step! Next time I'm in Wellington I will definitely be back!

I suffer from lower back pain and a really tight glut muscle. This massage was one of the best I've had! Great relaxing atmosphere and walked out feeling 100% better. Can't wait until the next one.
