I have been to Michael Fowler Centre. it reminds me of my Weltec graduation ceremony in May last year. What a great place to have a graduation event. Its huge and amazing architecture with lovely interior design.

Visit for uni graduation. Lots of seating which was comfortable enough I was able to have power naps! Confusing to find bathrooms.

I have been to a few shows here over the years and they in particular the last 12 months and I have always found it a great venue. The acoustics are very good and I have always found the seating to be comfortable. If driving there, there are a few car parks that are a short walk away and there are a good selection of restaurants nearby if you want to get a meal before a show, but probably would be best to make a reservation if you are planning this. I look forward to the my next show here

It was pleasant to do a return visit to the MUC after many years away. Some aspects are looking tired but, really, it's weathered well. Good acoustics. Toilets need a refurbishment and easier access for the disabled. The lift is slow and only one.

MFC looks lovely - we attended for our daughter graduating but had the history of attending a graduation in Otago last year. The ceremonies were similar and overseen by volunteers but sadly the Victoria graduation was poorly administered. Families queued or stood about the foyer unable to be seated as the doors were shut. No-one handed out programmes on entry but worst of all was the cramped seats with lack of exit points. The seats look great but if you have issues with your knees look for a front row with space to stretch. Certainly not the best facilities we have been in sadly.

The seating in this building is excellent wherever you end up sitting. The acoustics have well well thought of at the time of building so the sound is also wonderful.
Been here many times and it always feel small enough to be intimate but big enough to hold a lot of people comfortably.
Highly recommend seeing a show here.

We decided to buy tickets to the opening night at the NZ Symphony. What a lovely venue! No age discrimination here, from fresh and young to very well seasoned, we saw people enjoying 'Classical Journey'. The title of the performance.
Our seats were not the best in the house however, the sound was still wonderful.
This was a fabulous evening.

Attended Sweet Adelines Convention at this venue over three days and also Saturday night. Only concern I had was the size of the cubicles in the women's toilets! Very hard to access and I would think that anyone who had an extra-generous-sized body would not be able to get round the door, even if they breathed in!!
